    I guess his point is that you can easily create multiple gmail accounts by inviting yourself over and over again, so that you can then sign up with all these accounts for the Hellgate:London beta and have a higher chance of getting one of the beta slots.

    parent is right.
    the applications may look similar, but that doesn't tell you if e.g. one of these apps is buggy or how it interacts with other applications.
    i do care about screenshots, it's just that things like stability should be considered too.

    sadly, this is not the case anymore (at least in germany)
    mtv europe has become just another mtv (america). there used to be original content,
    but since it is cheaper to buy american series and synchronise them
    all we get is pimp my ride, viva la bam, made, true life, boyling point, room raiders,
    simple life, newly weds, dismissed, etc.
    and the only series made by mtv europe are 'dismissed german' & 'pimp my bike'
    you get the picture, same sh*t, different continent.

    has anyone tried to export a document to html ?
    even word, which is known for its crappy html export, does a better job than pages.
    they could have at least made sure that the default templates export correctly.
    other than that i like pages, it's not a word competitor by any means.
    pages just makes the average user write good looking letters in no time.

    because you can customize an rss feed here http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa /MRSS/rssGenerator and get all recentlyadded songs you want delivered to your rss reader of choice.

    most users log in as admin on a windows box, so it basically is a root exploit in most cases

    there's a 'news from apple' rule in mail.app by default which sets a different color and prevents other rules from being evaluated. maybe this applies to junk mail too, so you may want to turn this one off.
