Don't deserve the title. I've been designing and developing websites since 1997 and I have ALWAYS worked to a maximum of 10 seconds for a page to download - even back in the day when everyone was on modems .
People come to your site for a purpose, all the flashy crap designers love to put in is just a barrier between the user and that purpose.
We all know how badly Sony has dropped the ball in the past ten years, their only success stories recently have been the Playstation and very recently the Bravia HDTV sets.
Quick example, I bought a 20Gb MP3 player from them, the NW-A3000 mainly for the very very high sound quality. I knew it wouldn't 'just work' like the iPod does, but I thought it was worth the effort ... .
I have NEVER had so much trouble with a seemingly simple device in my life. I was right, this things *sounds* fantastic, really, but the menus on the device were poorly thought out, it was slow, the software used to transfer music took 5-10 minutes to load and then crashed - oh I could go on for hours.
Sony of old - come back to me please - I used to be able to trust that the 20% premium on your gear was actually worth it, now it's just a slap in the face to a loyal customer.
(BTW I'm off out to get a Creative when I sell the Sony on ebay;) )
Well I suppose the only problem with your statement is that it's not true . . . . Flash will read CSS style sheets no problem and apply it to the site, it also has accesability options so that people with access problems can use it, the development can be a bit of a pain but you *can* get nice simple easily used web apps out of it without buggering about with ajax.
well maybe because that's 3 years away at minimum and the average replacement lifetime for a phone (with the people this is aimed at) is around 12months?
Quite a profit window I think, and in 3 years, their HDs will be better capacity.
The drives have accelerometres in them and don't break when dropped. My 5year old creative only finally died because of the battery after being dropped literally 20-30 times from over a metre onto concrete, my new Sony NW-A3000 has survived 2 drops from the same height onto concrete in the month I have had it and still works fine.
Hard drives in phones are coming, the sooner the better, and watch iSheep disapear when they do:)
it's possible, you silly monkey, that they were making a observation about the quality of Wiki entries.
Wiki is wank - less reliable than the onion, and not as funny.

It is a focusing lense, the one on my SE K750 has two lanses and teeny tiny motors to focus very sharply, even has a macro mode to take pics about 5 cm away, not too shabby for a phone.
or is it just me? I don't use tabs, never have never will, well unless I'm working on a 800X600 machine maybe:)
Honestly who really cares? It's a tiny tiny funtion that makes no difference to your daily browse considering you can get all progs of the same type to roll up into a single taskbar tab:)
That's not even slightly true, I have a UK 60GB PS3, which has all of the PS2 hardware in it.
You can search for used vs new. You always have been able to.
Don't worry they're only one of the biggest and most popular bands on the planet. Think sales that out do U2 :).

HOW YOU MINE FOR FISH?FISH?

:)
British by birth
English by the grace of god.
Back of the right hand.... or of course in the middle of your forehead - how else will you ba able to buy things?
I was waiting for the N80 until I saw this - the N93 has WLAN built in as well and a better camera -all I need for a good phone :)

Are my favourite storage medium. Look how long that recording of 'Caveman IV - The Return of the Mamoth' lasted.
Except from TFA:
"The company's fourth-generation drive will be available in 8Gb and 10Gb versions later in the first quarter, said Kevin Magenis,"
so in about 3 months max, not 2008.

Because I can't stand the bloated, difficult to use Photoshop (Athough the same could be said about Flash TBH).
it's actually 'their', as the subject was the team who released it .. .
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! (falls to knees)

Hyperbolic bollocks to me :) When will these people get a grip, sounds like Gibson cooing over the potential of 'teh machine' again.
there's also a book called Heliconia by Brian Aldis that deals with similar ish issues, better than Nightfall in some ways, and it's a trilogy.
Aw you didn't include an email!! Silly you.

And tell em how badly their image has suffered for being gits.
