Working at Tiscali in London and living in Brighton, this now means I'll be able to get my PSP and do some multiplayer online gaming from the comfort of my seat - oh happy days.
Unfortunately I have to pay £3960 per year to *GET* to london from Brighton every day (50 miles for those not in the know), but atleast this will make the trip a little easier to handle:) (wondor what my ping will be?)

Turn off Flash - I've never found a convincing argument to have it other than the odd well made animation - and these are few and far between, turning flash on and off should be a lot easier but aprt from that -it works.
but COME ON people!! That trailer is shockingly tat!! I could film a better movie with my camera phone and I could probably get better acting from a paper bag.

True SF is really speculative fiction, putting people and characters in a strange or unusual situation - if you want science go back to "particle of the week" in trek.
If 95% of computer users disapeared I'm guessing you wouldn't have a job, I wouldn't cos I'm a webdesigner - we need these people, they provide the vast body of users . . . .

Before you do people, get this, people wo DON'T work in computers - they just don't care - did you know that? they don't care if it's linux, max, pc, or whatever, they just want to start using this new intahwebeh thing.
When they go to a shop to buy one what do they get? Windows, cos that's what 95% of other people do. Windows is big, it's always going to be big, deal with this fact.
Not just video tapes. Photography, the internet, video tapes, DVDs, streaming video and digital photography ALL owe their rapid take up and comoditisation to the pornographic industry.
(I'd possibly include the easily available hard drives with massive storage as well)
slight picking here, but firstly Spaced was made for channel 4, not the BBC I believe the BBC are normally quite good about releasing things.
Secondly, I don't know about the US, but it's not actually possible to buy a DVD player that is not multi region in the UK anymore, surely they are available in the US?
