Why are they trying to keep Windows? Yes it's a well-known brand name, but so is Microsoft. All they have to do is create a tablet-specific OS and leave all the compatibility headaches behind. And even without any compatibility headaches, most Windows applications weren't written with a touch interface in mind, so having a goal of Windows on a tablet is just asking for trouble.
Microsoft has an opportunity to start fresh, leave the Windows problems behind and create something new. But yet they don't.
The 'Wanted' posters at the post office... You're there, you got your package, you're trying to mail something, this guy's wanted in 12 states. Yeah, now what? Ok. I check the guy standing in line behind me... if it's not him, that's pretty much all I can do.
If we also count people who know two or more languages, I'm betting English would be far more than 760 million. A lot of surveys only ask what your primary language is. English is easy to pick up, Hollywood movies and the USA/UK/Canadian music industries also help spread english everywhere.

I don't count SilverLight as 'having a client for Macs'. I'm not installing Microsoft anything on my Mac.
Netflix works without SilverLight on the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and 2nd generation Apple TV. Why does it need SilverLight on the Mac?
It sure would, but nobody knows where to find them.
First of all he didn't say that at all. Basically, what he said is that he doesn't want crappy software sucking the battery life.
Second, if Adobe themselves can make up to tenfold improvements, that says a lot about how crappy Flash really is.
AndrewNeo talked about Amazon, not me. It was a general comment about cross-border orders.
You really don't understand how crappy Flash is to begin with.
La traduction de anglais à espagnol est belle merdique.

No, you need a small fish for that.
I wasn't talking about Amazon, just USA->Canada orders in general.
Amazon even has a .ca website, so I'm guessing orders are (probably) shipped from Ontario. Same thing for Apple, Dell, etc.
So your solution is to.... kill all humans?
Bender is posting on Slashdot!
