I've spent more money on things like linux CD sets and books and paraphanalia (support the good fight!) than some of my friends have on windows...WORTH EVERY PENNY. If linux suddenly cost money, I'd probably buy it (if i wasn't a poor college student). However, if i bought it, i'd expect it to be less of a hassle...
what happened was Amazon and Ebay hit it big, and everyone started saying things like eBusiness, and throwing money at it. It was like a lottery, except everybody lost.
i think by Universal they mean that the UMD can hold movies, games, music, whatever. so technically CD's and DVD's are Universal mediums in that sense. I think it would be smart if sony released more devices that supported the media (maybe build PSP compatability into the PS3 a-la the Gameboy Player for Gamecube). It would do them even better if they licensed out the technology to other companies.
it seems to me that at this point depth is where game designers should be heading. I like the sense of scale that is convayed by the previews for Spore, for instance. Or perhaps the could bring something of a microsoft flight simulater to a console, with an acurate landscape patched together from actual sattalite photos. That's the only place i can see gameplay improving at this point. To tell you the truth, current generation graphics are about there. We really need bigger, more detailed maps, more in game freedom, more drivable vehicles, more weapons, more innovative game concepts (thinking animal crossing). Also, more customization.

We are but eight score young blondes and brunettes, all between sixteen and nineteen and a half, cut off in this castle with no one to protect us! Oh, it is a lonely life -- bathing, dressing, undressing, making exciting underwear.... We are just not used to handsome knights."

I would work as a linux consultant, but the jobs just aren't there. Sometimes i have to sell a little somethin' on the side, if you get my drift...

Beavis and Butthead ended YEARS before the movie came out.

Why should it be banned? i used to carry a laptop in high school, and it was MUCH more porn-capable than a PSP will ever be...(mmmmm hi-res goodness)
actually, before the iPod exploded, it was originally another ploy to sell macs...

actually, he mistakenly says 5 instead of 3 several times in the movie, that was only the most notable.
But only if the Presentation has some really spiffy fade ins and text effects. Not to meantion a colorful background!
