Sorry if it sounds harsh, but the solution IS obvious: Cut back on the gaming. Perhaps way back. In a healthy relationship, you and your SO will give each other time to pursue your own interests, and you'll both sacrifice some personal time for the other.

I hear you. I had a minor feud (never sign up with hostgiga or hostbreeze) with my hosting provider and lost my MT installation. It was chaos when I first installed it, so I wasn't in the mood to go through it all again.
I kept a import file at hand at all times (yeah, right, it was pure nightmare trying to get my blog entries back) so I just instaled WP and in a matter of minutes had it all back again. Loved it. Also, not having to rebuild all the time is all the shizzle.
I'd really rather watch Barney melt to a purple goo.
Dino is such a nice pet.

Literature is one of the last places we can reach for a ad-free enviroment. Now, if they start calling this game a novel, you can be sure people will be shown lots of ads and stuff "relating" to the storyline.

and how many dreams can u actually remember after you wake up anyway, i always remember for about half an hour before the memories start to fade... i think ive lost some good ones, altho i may have been dreaming
Why, don't you know you can also record your dreams? There's this excellent machine, due next year, that will record your best dreams, put together a "best of", so you can show your family and also start mixing breakfast when it notices you're about to wake you. I should know, for I invented it myself. Wanna borrow my prototype?

I'm not so sure about the kids, but their older sister has. And I can say I'm not too happy to have been there for them on those moments.
