Without copyright, selling copies won't be an issue when everone can get theirs for free. Selling copies won't (and shouldn't be) profitable, and would be a worthless endeavor. What you refuse to see is that with P2P, nobody is selling copies. They're sharing. That's probably worse to you, because no money changes hands. I saw in one of your posts where you didn't care for the idea of people writing software for free (GASP!). Damn commies, actually giving stuff away. The NERVE!

So now I have my very own personal Troll?

You should feel lucky. Everybody needs a little something to keep them on their toes occasionally.

Oh, and if you have a service to sell, go for it. But don't spam us in your posts. Buy some ad space. Otherwise it just looks like you're trying to advertise for free. Hmmm...

You should call it SPAMS, because what your posts are becoming. If the copyright office just puts their database online, that might sufficient.

I saw another post that sums it up very nicely. In effect it said that IP promotes speculation NOT innvation. Very true indeed.

Mazda put a Wankel into their pickups for a couple of years, and I got my hands on one. The thing went like a raped ape. It was FAST! But got horrible mileage. (between 15 and 18). At that time (1974), the apex seal problem was resolved. The engine mixes oil into the gas at the carb. The big problem was the rubber(!) o-rings(you'd think NASA would've learned from them on this) used between the housings (you may want to look at a cut away view to see what I'm talking about.) They would break down from age and let all the coolant into the combustion chamber. The seals would last about 8 or 9 years if you drove it one mile or a million miles. Big bummer considering the engine itself would probably last a milloin miles. Ever hear one without a muffler? These suckers are LOUD! I put a set of headers on mine and then drove down to Midas to weld the rest of the exhaust hardware. Inside the truck was deafening. Outside? Well, the kids were all covering their ears. Funny as hell. Well, obviously, the first cop I past stopped me, and I immediately told him I was on my way to the muffler shop. So, he let me off. No problem. But whenever I spun the engine above 1200 rpm, I thought the whole thing was coming apart like the "one hoss shay"(?). It was that bad. I miss my truck :-( I saw those Suzuki bikes. Too bad they made 'em so butt ugly. One of my dad's friends had a couple of Arctic Cat snowmobiles with Wankels in them. I believe there are Wankel diesels out in the wild somewhere. I'd love to see one of those.

Verifying credentials can be done via public records. If you want to weed out the liars, scam artists, fakes and phonies, then you shouldn't vote for them. The day you actually become honest with yourself is the day that you will realize that it's American meddling in the affairs of others is what brought down the towers. And don't try to think that I'm justifying it. It is every bit as despicable as the horrors that the Americans are perpetrating on the Iraqis at this moment, which is an act brought on by the lies spewing from Washington every day. You might also find that most of the liars, scam artists, fakes and phonies are the same people that RUN Wall St. The savings and loan scandals, Enron, etc. were brought on by the kind of people that will never have their backgrounds checked because of their connections. The only people that anybody is going to check are the janitors and cafeteria employees. The liars, scam artists, fakes and phonies, and drug addicts will continue to work the floor unimpeded.
