The second someone dares to admit that they might rather do something other than rot their brains with TV they automatically become smug, boring, outcasts.
I don't particularly care for TV either, and I wouldn't watch any if my wife didn't have the damn thing on all the time.
Honestly, can't anyone just respect another persons choice NOT to watch TV without typecasting them as elitist?

what about stuff like credit card numbers, social security numbers and other personal info? isnt that worth encrypting? you may have nothing to "hide" but still not want any asshole out on the net nabbing anything he can about you
those seem more like the kinds of things they'd do to some place like israel where they're more likely to have enough men on the ground to pull off enough of those kinds of small attacks to cause massive 9/11 type fear.
Even games in like Red Faction where you can blow up walls and stuff, you can't destroy everything... how could you design levels that way? You could just blow your way through the whole level and it would suck... but you're right, being able to blow some shit up would be cool... even the cups and cans are invincible, you can shoot them all day long and they just bounce around.
