I'm not. Radioshack was fucking horrible in the last 20 years. High pressure commission sales staff, shitty products, questionable sales practices all the while shutting down the sale of all the items that made the store a treasure for its electronics parts. They deserved to go under, and most of us are just wondering how the hell it didn't happen sooner.
I just say "no, you don't need that" when they ask. If they insist I ask them if they really want the sale or not. Usually at that point they cave and process the transaction.
It wasn't that good a show. Yes, it was better than most of what was on, but most of what was on was pretty horrible at the time too. In the most recent years shows like BSG, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul, and many others have set a whole new standard that X-Files couldn't even hope to measure up to. As for Duchovny , he was 10,000% better in Californication which had brilliant writing.
X-Files just has a plot that goes nowhere fast, while the writers recycle the same half dozen situations in a loop, while slightly changing the conditions each time.
Nuclear waste isn't really that big a problem if it's contained properly, which it almost always is. We'd be much better off as a planet if we use nuclear as our main power source, and used hydro, geothermal, solar, and wind to help where it's possible.
This sounds like a much better solution than arbitrarily imposing a ban on only half the population. Making it apply to everyone in some way is a much saner approach.
If you knew anything about it, you'd know there weren't search boxes plastered all over everything. It's pretty simple. Press windows key, start typing, select item as it comes up or hit windows key again to dismiss it.
But hey, we get it, you'd rather complain than spend the time to come up with a legitimate gripe.
That's entirely incorrect. You can access the network adapters much the same as you could in any other version of windows - via the network and sharing icon in the control panel. This is the real problem - people line up to criticize something they clearly don't understand.
It'd be like me saying Linux has the shittiest networking ever because I couldn't figure out how to use ifconfig.
There's really not much wrong with windows 8. It's not as bad as people make it out to be, and the search feature works quite well for running applications - much the same way quicksilver on a mac would work.
The "Angry" people are generally the ones that are completely lost if you take away the start menu. Personally I never used it in the first place so it didn't bother me.
When you talk about "works great" you have to consider the present goal. If their plan is to grow market share it's not working great. They're losing market share because people are realizing you don't have to spent $800 to have a decent quality smartphone. The same thing is happening to Samsung - cheaper mid-range smartphones are starting to eat both their lunches.
Because you'll be extremely disappointed by any $50 projector. You can't get a projector worth having at that price point. Hell, reasonable projectors don't even start until around the $300 mark.
The project is interesting and ambitious. However it's still a projector, and a projector with motion sensing capabilities at that. This is almost certainly going to put it in to the $1000+ price range. You can't change the world if nobody can afford your product.
No, those are not good or valid reasons. I could leave my keys in my car so that I save time having to figure out where I left them, but it's not a good idea.
"Additional CPU" - you're completely uninformed. Yes, there's more CPU usage, no it's not significant. Caching? There are ways around that. The problem with people like you is that you're smart in some ways, and intensely ignorant in others. You can't entertain the possibility that you might be dead wrong. My suggestion to you would be to learn how to do your job, or retire so someone who knows better can take it.
There's virtually no excuse to be running a website without SSL. It doesn't matter what kind of site you run. It should really be law that all sites on the internet move to SSL.
Skylines is fun. It's approachable. It's easy to pick up, and difficult to master. It has a mod engine that allows players to modify it in many subtle and extreme ways. It would have done well regardless of whether or not Simcity was successful because Skylines places emphasis on fun and not tedium or publisher profit margins.
"DLC = unfinished game from price-gouging publisher"
No, not always. I can think of more than a few games where DLC released after the fact added huge value to an already good game. Speaking in absolutes just makes you sound like an idiot.

Coal needs to go. Period.

....Anne's license plate is even?
If this were me, I'd just go get my license plate re-issued.

Any 10 year old economy commuter car has basically reached shitbox status. It still doesn't mean they're unsafe.
Old doesn't necessarily mean unsafe or unreliable. Plenty of people drive 10 year old cars that are not putting them in danger.
Entirely true. It would just make more sense if they developed technology that could be retrofitted in to any car instead of just their newest line.
...you let your teenage kid drive your brand new 2016 car.
In the real world, most would typically have to endure the initial "proving grounds" shitbox of a car first.
Then you didn't actually read the post which starts with:
"Apple plans to start accepting non-Apple devices as trade-ins as the company seeks to extend market-share gains against Android smartphones"
It works for them for the same reason micro-transactions work. The more customers you have the less you need to charge to reach a given profit.

They're losing market share because people are realizing you don't have to spent $800 to have a decent quality smartphone. Apple is trying everything except the one thing that would actually work - stop price gouging their customers.

I'd like people to be penalized for being irresponsible. Not using HTTPS is irresponsible.
Who's going to pay for my car insurance? In 20 years I've never had an accident, why should I need to have insurance?
No, those are not good or valid reasons. I could leave my keys in my car so that I save time having to figure out where I left them, but it's not a good idea.
