Assuming this is a signal that's embedded in the content during commercials, monitoring this will make it even easier for software to remove the commercials during/after recording. Thanks guys!
Why is DNA evidence admissible? Someone can steal your hair from your bathroom and plant it.
It's more difficult to get your semen (hopefully, right?) and plant it at the crime seen. More difficult to plant your skin cells under the victim's fingernails. This is why it's admissible.
but saying that this would not help solve some crimes is just wrong.
No, it isn't. The ID on brass probably won't even be admissible in court for the reason that brass gets reused all the time. Any would-be criminal's defense would be, "I fired those rounds at the firing range, and the REAL murderer retrieved them from the floor, reloaded them and used them to commit the crime."
Actually, I prefer more monochromatic themes on my Android. It just looks... cleaner.
And, if you're lucky enough to have a phone that's supported by Cyanogenmod (or possibly other custom ROMs), you can make the display monochrome. Looks cool, except for photos/vid/web.
Ever hear the term "low hanging fruit"? To answer your question, likely yes. It does mean he's weaker.
Given two banks, one with a reinforced vault and advanced security system, and the other with a less robust and poorly designed vault, which will the robbers most likely target?
Now, I grant you that this analogy is flawed. Do the banks have equal funds? This would also play into the robbers' decision. Likewise, Windows has more users than Linux so, arguably, Windows is a juicier target. But this is an excuse used all too often to dismiss Windows' security shortcomings.
The other factor that my analogy didn't take into account is the knowledge of the staff. I clean infections off of friends and family's computers every few months, simply because they're... stupid. It's always the fake antivirus pop-ups that trick them into actually downloading and installing a trojan. This isn't a problem on Linux for, I believe, two reasons: Obviously, the executable isn't compatible; also, I think most Linux users are probbly savvy enough to know to just kill the browser, or turn off Javascript and close the window.
But, flawed as it may be, I think there's validity in the analogy. Windows is simply easier to crack.
The word "hate", just like "racist", has lost all meaning in today's discourse. Being diametrically opposed to someone's viewpoint is not hate. This overuse of the "hate" label is evidence of one party's inability to form a coherent argument in response the opponent. "I don't like what you said about my guy, and I'm too lazy or unable to counter your argument, so... that's hate speech."
Stalking? You mean, he had repeatedly followed Martin to his home, or place of employment? Or, were you exaggerating, and you meant to say following? Yes, Zimmerman was doing his job of neighborhood watch and following Trayvon, who was acting suspicious (according to Zimmerman's account).
Even if you take Zimmerman's story at face value
Thankfully, we don't have to. The witnesses, the police officers, Trayvon's bruised knuckles and Zimmerman's bloody head, while not absolute proof, all agree with Zimmerman's story.
When the cop on the phone told him to lay off, stay in his car and wait, and Zimmerman went after the young man
Maybe that's what happened. Or, maybe that's actually the moment just before Trayvon decided to jump him and pound the hell out of him. You don't know. Granted, Zimmerman probably made a mistake by not immediately withdrawing after being advised to do so. But, this mistake did not give Trayvon license to beat the shit out of Zimmerman. Trayvon apparently (only according to the information available to the public to date) used deadly force against Zimmerman, and so Zimmerman killed him. Those are the facts.
I'm not sure which moral universe you live in...
One side of this argument has been presented with facts. You, on the other hand, have chosen to employ only fact-contradicting speculation and hyperbole. I don't think you're in the position to critique moral stature.
In my experience, they don't care how you use your 5gigs/month. I rooted my Galaxy S2 a week after getting it, just so I could install Wireless Tether. I haven't gone so far as to torrent over it, but I've downloaded Linux Mint ISOs and Justified MKV's without any complaints.
I was going to reply and tell you that you're mistaken. But, I decided to google it first, just to make sure before I made an ass of myself. Turns out, you're right. I was not aware.
I tether often, and I don't notice this on pages loaded on the tethered PC. It must be a forced proxy they have set up in the stock browser?
After reading TFA (well, CTRL+F plus), it's not clear whether this will be for the free Hulu online, or just Plus subscribers. I currently use the XBMC Hulu plugin, and I'd hate to think that will go away as a result.
1. wget http://mirrors.xmission.com/linuxmint/iso/stable/12/linuxmint-12-gnome-dvd-64bit.iso
(or choose a different mirror, the KDE version, whatever)
2. apt-get install unetbootin
3. Use #2 to put #1 on USB drive
4. Reboot (assuming BIOS supports booting from USB && is configured to do so), and follow the simple install procedure.
5. Enjoy.
TIP: For a better, more familiar experience, log into MATE instead of gnome once it's installed)
UNDER lords. Underlords.
Obviously. Yet, the question must necessarily be asked.
Why do you have strange character strings where you should have quotation marks? Did you cut and past this as a pre-canned response?
Yet another gimmick to try to get people to return to the theaters. And again, we all say, "Just make better movies."
What's stopping you? Also, if you don't like the default UI, install one of the many skins that are available.
To be rude, but, that was a dumb question.

Watch this, and stop hyperventilating.

Weak.
No. It counts as a flavour.

And, thank goodness we live in a country where simply bringing charges against someone is not an automatic implication of guilt.
We'll see how far this prosecution gets with the testimony of the police officers, who coroborate Zimmerman's story.

You know, like with OWS. They have their rape, destruction, public defication platform. What does the Tea Party have in comparison with those?
Probably not the best example you could have provided. Self defense is, arguably, the most compelling reason to own a firearm, no?

Sorry. I forgot the sudo in step 2. I usually go 'sudo su -' to root it in one shot, myself. Have it your way, though.

You lost me at "leveraging the cloud".
Shut. UP!
