It seems the other way around for me. I was forced to go back to 0.9.3 because 1.0PR crashed every single time it loaded a large page (generally over about 500kB)
I suggest you just do a complete wipe of all trace firefox program files, registry and especially extensions and themes and start fresh.
Mainly because certain n00bs (see author's username) have no clue why xconfig, menuconfig and config straight out fail when he tries and compiles 2.6.X
