I have successfully run DOS 6.0 with Windows 3.0 within a dos emu session. I attempted to install Win 3.1 but I couldn't get it to start up even after downloading a file the DOSemu project reported was necessary. I do admit though that it seemed really wrong to see a Microsoft install screen within what I knew was a Linux system. It also took me way back to oh 9 years or so ago when most things were still text only for me (Excepting games of course).
Can I refuel my slipfighter there? I'd like to see if the Andromeda Galaxy still exists, plus I could bring back a couple of nova bombs to help you out. Puny ICBMs taking on a weapon that destroys solar systems ah it'd be nice.
I dont know only getting only a page that says
DISINFECT NOW AND RUN WINDOWS UPDATE
Would set off a few alarm bells or get the stupider ones asking WTF!! give me my access back.
You could also run your phone line through an amplifier that you could switch one just before starting the feedback... If you don't mind deafening some poor soul who can't get a real job somewhere else.
The only game that ever gave me nightmares was Shivers by Sierra. That game creeped the hell outta me, alone in a haunted museum trying to solve puzzles. I hated some of the kinds of puzzles they used if it were real I'd be dead 20 times over.
iD is proud to present Commander Keen X, a new adventure with Billy Blaze teaming up with his old grandfather B.J. Blazkowits (however the hell it's spelled), Aliens, zombies, mutants, rehased old stuff.
It really is amazing how much stuff ties in together with iD's games. Commander Keen is decended from B.J. in Wolf3D the Doom space marine looks like B.J.'s twin, I just need to find out about the people in Quake now...
I'm getting very confused about the Doom numbering we had Doom, Doom II, Ultimate Doom (Doom 1 + an extra episode), and Final Doom (two more Doom 2 sized episodes 32 levels each). I could have sworn Final Doom was 3 (or 3 and 4 given the size of it). Oh well whatever I'm just gonna have to find the Linux versions of each of them.
Like the Maquis except have it more than half the Federation instead of 50 or so colonies along a boarder. Or how about that Section 31 or whatever it was called in DS9 have some Federation citizens doing some serious sh!tdisturbing in the Alpha Quadrant.
the human powered version. We have short range human powered aircraft, What about once we get up into orbit? It'd be pretty simple to use a bicycle to power the sparkplug to ignite the fuel...
Thank you for violating the DMCA, all mentions of this auto-run disable, switch to Linux, Unix, BSD, etc will land you in our shiny new prison in Mojave.
The sun cannot go supernova it doesn't have the mass, a star's core has to have several times the mass just in its core for that to happen.
As to your idea of screwing over all life with pollution that can never totally happen. Plants when they first evolved took in the carbon dioxide, and put out oxygen eventually they would have suffocated if oxygen breathing animals hadn't come along. So modern pollutants mixed in at the right rate won't totally screw life.
I did this yesterday before the story came out about the Mandrake RPMS. I haven't located them yet, and besides I was bored and had some time to kill on the install.
On the note about the.conf files I find it a little strange that running xf86conf managed to get startx working without a manager. Oh well back to the drawing board (or the ftp site of Mandrake...)
Good Lord I hate it when the control key is in that spot. All the time I had to do programming in my schools learning center (University Computer Science) I'd keep going for control and hit caps (these were sun keyboards), so not everyone would be happy with that kind of a switch.
You know I used to think the same thing. So I switched keyboards with my 286, and you know what happened I realized that I had gotten used to using the Windows key to bring up the start menu. I'd switch again now that I'm using Linux but... the damn \ key is in a strange place comparatively now. Oh and don't get me started on Sun keyboards....
YOU DIPSHIT UNIVERSALLY STUPID ASSHOLE!!!!! I have never in my entire life heard any of my fellow Canadians say EH at the end of every sentence. I personally hate beer and wish it would go the same place as you HELL.

Worse yet could STCVs cause problems in the wetware...

That just reminded me of an old comment in PC Gamer when Doom got ported to the Mac. Mac users go to hell...

That would be sweet if they COULD do it, just imagine for $10 000 you could be an astronaut! And of course don't forget the FREEBIE, FrEeBiE, ...
Good gawd and I thought my redneck family tree was convoluted...
Then blow their minds by telling them that Linux is still CLI with a windowing shell...

Believe me typing properly really helps out in the long run.
