I don't understand why the Apple's mouse is such a big deal. I'm sure that most people buy an aftermarket mouse instead of using the one that ships with their new computer anyhow. Personally, I use this mouse with my MAC --> http://www.macally.com/spec/usb/input_device/rfmou se.html
Dang, you go through the troubles of ordering a CD, waiting for it to arrive, removing the CD from the package, putting it in your drive, clicking through the setup?!?! I believe it's easier to just open a terminal window and type "emerge -u world" !
. . . . Just kidding. Actually, after working with my 2.2Ghz Win XP box at work, my Dual PII-400Mhz gentoo box at home feels pretty snappy! Don't get me wrong though, it's nice to have Win XP at work... Any other OS, and it probably wouldn't *feel* like work!!!!
Hmm, that's actually interesting. Tried it on my standard 101 keyboard here and that seems to work well.
Unfortunately, I then tried it on my 12" Powerbook, but there's no way. The keys are recessed to be pretty much flush with the palm-rest and the CTRL key isn't the outer key. It's inboard of the FN key.
Seems like some people are willing to exert more energy into complaining about what their kids get into, than actually making sure their kids stay out of it!
Hmm, lucky thing I got a 12" powerbook then. Don't think it took more than 5 minutes to pop the battery out and slide my Airport Extreme card in. Perhaps I didn't do it correctly though. Probably should have pryed the battery out instead of using the release, eh?
So, when is the release date; and will there be an opt-out?
