Not too surprised about this news. Somewhat similar in essence is the case with fruits and vegetables. In past I have come across couple of seedfull black grapes in a whole big bunch of seedless grapes.

You can crack the various personailty test with some practice, especially the written one and even face to face. It is not so difficult to impersonate an expected personality, atleast for hardened ones amongst us.

In my personal experience I have found that true personality comes to surface easily when you approach towards extreme moods - happiness, joy, frustration, bugged and so on. The usual personality testing can't detect true personality easily. One of the reasons being the own biases of the judges, resulting from the theoritical knowledge and/or their own personalities.

You could project a very healthy and positive personality, but if that's only a mere projection, your inner vibrations will effect/influence the people around you in unpleasant ways anyways.

I guess it is more than an year now, when I was trying out some service (possibly search related) at hotmail.com and they had an option about giving some feedback to them. At that point no search engine provided a search facility that dealt with a simpleton querry like - "Where is TajMahal?" and gave more precise answers to this querry rather than loads of results. I had filled in that feedback form, if hotmail search engine could provide such kind of features in (then) near future, it could put it differently ahead of other search engines. No feedback came from them. Well, it couldn't have been expected either as the been-filled-up form mentioned not to expect feedbacks.

feels happy that as a user of search engines I felt a need for improvement there that voila! somebody has even taken steps towards that.

  5. Re:Just an annoyance on Finnish Firm Claims Fake P2P Hash Technology · · Score: 1

Yup! To give work to this company, P2P s/w have to change their hashing techniques, rather have two hashes for same file. One computed the usual way and another like -

consider one file as composition of many subfiles cat-ted together. based on initial file size compute the order in which you would be computing hashes of these considered subfiles. put together these hashes in some predetermined order (either the order in which you processed subfiles or the order in which these were present in original file) and compute the hash of these hashes. this is second level hash.

each file in P2P network contains now 2 hashes. 2nd hash will aid to confirm the genuineness of P2P file.

second level hashing can incorporate some more parameters to make it more fine for fine-ish friends of ours. ;)

Is is controllable/determinable by us what properties the other will take? If A&B entangled and later C entangles with either of them, will it be considered that all three are entangled with each other? and if any property of A changes it will cause some change in properties of B and C to maintain the harmony b/w A,B&C to a state that was? (ought to be?) before the property of A changed? On the wondering scifi side, does all the discussion here, seem to point that parallel universes are possible?? One of the Futurama episodes deals with lots of weird parallel universe stuff (entire universe in a box stuff).

I don't understand rather can't (no background on quantum physics) - how can *same thing* happen *instanteously* to two entangled-in-past particles at opposite sides of the universe. Something happened to one, this information has to transfer in some way to other, even if it happens at the speed of millions times speed of light (is is possible that anything travels faster than light does??) it can't be instantaneous! Looking at the amazing possibillities of trying out many possible solutions at once with quantum physics, I guess it will find good usage with genetic algorithms.

If it is then it indicates antibubbles can be formed without any detergents stuff. or might it be that municipal corporation is supply water with detergents so that citizens can save on soaps etc.. :-) Another way could be to inject liquid inside trapped air in liquid, using some fine syringe. with expertise multiple small liquid droplets can be created inside the trapped air volume by having a syringe filled with alternate columns of liquid and gas, like -- pistonend-[liquid-air-liquid-air-liquid]-needleend may be this technique helps getting stabler anti-bubbles easily and earlier and might be for longer lifetime? since during antibubble formation the disturbation/movement in the system is much smaller compared to pouring technique. I was wondering if Dr. dorbole also considered observing fusion of two/more antibubbles? it should look like reverse process of cell-division. two small cells fusing together to form a bigger cell [considering inner trapped volume of liquid akin to cell nucleus]
