This whitelist based preemptive blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even unknown!) with no loss of functionality...
Experts do agree: Firefox is really safer with NoScript ;-)

My point, exactly. The whole "bad karma" thing is just talk, because most of those who espouse it do sit back enjoying their luxurious lifesytle while others suffer and die. Most of us in the first world could easily forgo any number of luxuries in order to help the poor, but we don't. You let somebody starve to death when you could have helped him, as opposed to spending money on some piece of consumer electronics or some other toy. You put your enjoyment ahead of their basic needs to live. So did I. How's that for karma?

That is not how kamma works.

In Buddhism, kamma is action. In other word, what constitute a good kamma (action) is depending to our intention or motivation.

Thus, if the intention for an act is wholesome, then that kamma is wholesome. Conversely, if the intention for an act is unwholesome, then that kamma is unwholesome.

So, to answer your question, when you are enjoying yourself, are you doing it with good intention or bad intention?

Kamma basically means, your action is a cause, and it will have a consequence. How you decide live your life is a personal choice.

But you sit by and watch as your fellow man starves and you are awash in abundance and waste. You take no action when he and his family are slaughtered in a genocide.

If you sit back and let something like that happen without doing anything to help (where it is within your capacity to assist), then it is you who commit a bad kamma.

    From Wiki:

... As an interesting side-note, when Ambassador Londo Mollari of the Centauri Republic observed an unsuited Vorlon at the same time as many others on board Babylon 5, he was reported not to have seen anything at all. Whether this was unique to him, or a trait of his race, was left unexplained by the series (although J. Michael Straczynski has stated that "Londo saw what he said he saw" [1]). One explanation for this is his affiliation with the Shadows, which made him unable to see the Vorlon as others more favourable to them did, another is that the Centauri simply haven't been manipulated by the Vorlons as the other races, and so aren't 'sensitive' to their projections in the same way. Outside of the television show, Peter David's book Out of Darkness indicates that Mollari just saw a very bright ball of energy, though it should be noted that when Vorlons outside of their encounter suits are seen later in the Babylon 5 series, they do not appear either as balls of energy or as projected, angelic beings of light. It is only under very exceptional circumstances that a Vorlon abandons its illusion and shows its true form however, and the one time when they are seen thus, the Vorlons in question are enraged and fighting, so whether or not their quiescent forms are more similar to the ball of energy observed by Mollari remains unknown...

That is true, but Solaris 10 is free, with that you do get free server, which is what I am talking about. Further more, you can run multiple Solaris 10 inside a single installation. Thus dramatically cut down the needs to get more hardware. From here, the idea that a one Sun machine = one Sun OS is really outdated.

    Check out Solaris 10.

Solaris 10 is free, regardless of the number or type of systems you want to run it on. In order to use the Solaris 10 Operating System for perpetual commercial use, each system running the Solaris 10 OS must have an entitlement to do so. The Entitlement Document is delivered to you either with a new Sun system, from Sun Services as part of your service agreement, or via e-mail when you register your systems for free through the Sun Download Center.
