2. CEOs are hiring people who can do the work for the least money. In some cases they get burned by that because it turns out that the outsourced workers are inferior. However, in those cases where somebody can do your job just as good as you for a fraction of the wage... Guess what? You were getting paid more than you were actually worth. C'est la vie.
Won't someone please tell these CEO's that they are making too much money, and they are the ones screwing over everyone else.
Just send them a nice note, instead of their paycheck: You have enough. Time to go home. Have a nice day!
Why are people just randomly allowed to patent doing things? "Tivo's can pause and rewind live TV, so they should be the only legal way to do so." So if the train company patented driving you to work, and i decided to walk, i'd be infringing on their patent and hopefully arrested before arriving to work.
Justice is served.
Yeah, it's surprising and disturbing that Rockstar backed down on this. They are the company that makes games like GTA and Manhunt in the first place, you think they'd be used to dealing with stupid-politically-correct-protester criticism. Why do people give in to such idiocy as taking a quote out of context from a video game and claiming to be deeply offended and upset by it.
If the internet had been patented, yes prices would have been ridiculous, innovation would have been completely stifled, and most likely it would have failed. So if the internet had been patented it might have never come into existence.

You forgot:
Space Channel 5.
Great soundtrack.
Making fun of me has already been patented. You're infringing on the intellectual properties of some jackasses i went to junior high with.
Thank you, good day.
That's why i hated satalite tv and got rid of it. Stupid "robot voices".

this article is breaking the first two rules of fight club. 1. Do not talk about fight club. 2. Do not talk about fight club.
Once SkyNet becomes self-aware it will destroy it's enemies, us. Judgement Day.

"...it would put the US and American companies at a huge disadvantage."
No, if this happened they'd just move all the computer work to a country that didn't have these DRM laws, like India or China.
oh, wait...
