    The problem is, in a Microsoft monoculture, there's lots of weak links - the password a human has to type in - everywhere.

    Even in this case, it's a 7 letter password that's not (just) a dictionary word and cant be hacked offline (presumably). That's not that weak a link, yet it was broken.

    You're missing that I made a joke. About the climate being much warmer in the past, when life existed just fine. Except for humans. That's the dichotomy, and I made a cheap joke off of it.

    No, you missed the lesson.

    The lesson here: If you're being sued in a US court and you're not a US company, ignore it because you won't have to pay for it. And the US company will still have to pay it's lawyers while looking idiotic.

    Police officers will publicly taser (effectively, short-term torture) anyone who doesn't follow their instructions immediately and without question, although arguably that's a good lesson for a child to learn.

    Why the fuck would that be a good lesson for anyone, much less a child.
