Sorry, but you're going to have to stop your whining until you find Apple actually pushing any iDevice as a general purpose computing device. They're all running the same OS, so they all behave the same. AND THEY'RE ALL LIMITED. They sell them that way. Simplicity is a hallmark of any iDevice, for a reason.
YOU want the iPad as a general purpose computing device, and so pitch a fit because Apple isn't providing it to you. In spite of the fact that they sell it as a limited computing device.
I don't understand why it's ok to rail on Apple for needing to jailbreak to get extra software features, but it's perfectly fine to suggest rooting your Android phone.
And, just like the right leaning part of my family, the irrational will say the Republicans will do great. My brother still insists GWBushJr was one of the best presidents ever because he cut business taxes.
But if it has to have a 3G plan, does it have cell contract with it?
That, on top of the price, will make it very expensive compared to the iPad, especially the WiFi only version.
If Samsung is smart, they'll do something like what Apple did with their 3G plans - make them month to month, and a low & high data plan. If not, then this tablet is DOA.
Love the fact that even in Win7, in order to install a network printer, you need to choose local printer, create a TCP socket, type in the network address, then choose the driver, in order to install most printers.
To me, it's a lot worse than the click start to shut down option.
You haven't supported many older printers, have you?
Heck, just look at the anecdotal stories around this comment. I could add a few more. Including links to HP's website where it says that certain older printers won't work with Win7 (but did just fine with WinXP). But I'm to lazy to look up the model numbers for you.
Well, it would be easier than the current anti-virus software!
Wipe on, wipe off instead of install in safemode, download updates, run scan for hours, reboot, download more updates, run another scan for hours, reboot.
And that's the real problem for Android/Chrome tablets. Who's going to sell the non-cellular version? None of the carriers will because they won't make money for them. Will it even be made?

Take your bunny & go home.

Holy crap.
That's a worse fail than their development SDK.
HTML/CSS or Flash *only*.

Also RIM _OWN_ QNX now-adays so I assume they will use it for their phones aswell.
You mean right after they came out with a new phone OS, they'll get rid of it?
That'll play well with developers.
You mean while they charge you $39.99 for tethering?
I bet MS has a better SDK on release than RIMM though.

App Dev *only* via HTML5/CSS or Flash.
You mean, like Citrix?

According to Wikipedia, he earns a salary of $1,276,627. 9% is $114,896. Every year.
That's before cashing in any stock/options. Or interest income, or dividends.
So, yeah, it's cheaper for him to try to defeat the tax, even if he gives 5-10x more.
And, just like the right leaning part of my family, the irrational will say the Republicans will do great. My brother still insists GWBushJr was one of the best presidents ever because he cut business taxes.
Pinched ravine. Ha, that's a good nick name for Bush Junior. And ironically, he'd probably use it.
To answer my own question:
Apparently, it's not clear yet what the costs, subsidies & plans will be.

Why would you not get an iPhone 4?
It's jailbreakable & has a good camera.

It's one place I really wish MS would copy Apple.

Sorry, but marketing isn't that smart.
But they are that ass-kissing!

If only Microsoft's product division copied their research department, they might start catching up!
Seriously, why go to that level of trouble.
Especially when the passwords to the database are hardcoded:

His post took my post a quintillion percent too literal for me.
It stops being called a zero-day vulnerability... once there's a patch out. Just because a patch is or isn't used doesn't change that.
No, it can't. The article may use it that way, but it is incorrect.
zero-day means that there is a hack before there is knowledge or, obviously, a fix of it.

There's a profit line in there somewhere...
It seems you don't understand deBeers business strategy.
They already have 1000% supply. They just restrict it in order to keep the price up.
So it would be business as usual for them, just a different source. Of course, they'd also market it as space diamonds, and charge 5x the price.
