Considering the screens could be a lot larger than the windows, AND the cameras could see through fog/rain/snow, I'd guess the pilots would prefer the screens.
Pilots ignore them because they think they're infallible.
Also, the gp said 'disinterested'. That doesn't do it, it's disorientation. And it's weird. I did some IFR training for my VFR. My head was about 15 degrees off from the instruments in the foggles (fogged goggles so you can only see instruments). And not always in the same direction, though I was typically 15 degrees to the right.
Radar cameras could easily see through the fog/rain/snow. Fewer 'controlled flight into terrain' accidents. If they can see the leading edges of the wings, perhaps fewer icing incidents as well.
This should actually improve flight safety by eliminating the shortcomings that windows have.
I'm just wondering if they're going to have dozens of electrical outlets & hundreds of wall warts & cables so that you can give a dead phone some charge, or are they just going to steal them like usual?
Let me know what the CO2 levels are during the species Homo span.
What's that? A record high?
Yeah, everyone knows the earth will go on spinning. It's us we're worrying about, you fucking moron.
And that won't lead to worse kick backs from drug companies than are already happening with doctors making $200k-$500k a year?
Riiiiight.
Snorkeling.
Millions of kids get those hand me downs.
A couple cables won't cut it, even if they're all the same.
Including every old ipod/cd player/dvd player/rio/zune/etc that has low battery life w/ kids playing on them?
Definitely enough to cause a serious backup.
Well, since this will be a complete choke point, they'll need hundreds of cables or have huge lines.
Imagine if they had one scanner. That took 5 minutes per person.
Yeah, that explains the worst air pollution on earth.
Yes, it's all America's fault that China didn't ever implement air scrubbing devices.

They basically do.

I didn't even think about that.

It depends on the airport, pilot & airplane.
If all are certified, yes they can land in zero visibility to 0' AGL.
Only true if the government intentionally ignores history.
Hell, they'll change the meaning of words so they can do just that.
They'll just take the whole damn phone.

The TSA is probably thinking
LOL!
So, you can't heat the nozzles together, but control the flow separately?
Why not?
Or a startup/large corporation/VC.
By about a decade.
OMGWTFBBQ when the government is supposed to abide by the laws that do not allow unreasonable search.
But don't.
Why is the USA not on the 'can't spy on' list?
Man that's a good retribution.
It's more ice, up slightly from the all time low of last year.
NOT THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE.
Jeez, you're anonymous for a reason.
Somebody is accountable for bandwidth expense.
I doubt it's trivial at this level.
And people make fun of others spending too much money on Apple?
Exactly how big do you think the market is for $500-$1000 headphones?
Do you buy Monster cables too?
