QNX can't run shit. It's the underlying OS, basically a standalone embedded OS. It needs a completely separate layer above the OS to actually present a UI.
But where are my shoe breathalyzers? Do you know how often a drunk person tries to walk home and is hit by a vehicle? I don't, but we still need to stop them from doing it.
Really? Because I used DDG for a month or two, and found the search results MUCH less relevant than doing the same search in Google, and I never am logged into google for doing my searches.
The 'media' is owned by the same corporations doing this shit. You might find a independent station somewhere that will spend 30 seconds on it in their news broadcast as a 'funny mistake kind of thing' [because to cover it in a way that could make someone care about the situation would probably take 5 or 10 minutes or more]. But none of the major networks will cover this because: 1) they do it 2) they are owned by a company that also owns a bunch of other companies that also do it
And there is nothing you can do about it, because it is literally impossible to roll back copyright legislation.
Except it's not about making the software better. It's about making more money by selling the information you get from this 'feedback'.
This is happening everywhere you have software running connected to the internet. Vehicles, IoT, mobile apps, desktop software, web apps.
It's the idea that you didn't pay them enough up front, that they deserve an ongoing revenue stream at long as that license is being used and there are no limits as to what they can do to get that money.
I assume it involves a computer that is unplugged from everything, including it's power cord, in a locked box. And they used linux to erase the Windows partition on internal HD.
The US gov't tried and executed Japanese soldiers for doing to their POWs what their own soldiers [and non-soldiers, ie, the CIA] did to their prisoners.
Only they went "oh, no. totally different. we call that an enhanced interrogation technique. not torture at all. certainly not a war crime, as these enemy combatants aren't in uniform. in fact, they don't officially exist."
If you have actually used it to run a windows app, you would know IT TOTALLY SUCKS. Yes, the app may 'run', either partially or fully, but it's worse than even a Java app. It sure as hell ain't 'ported' to the OS.
You only use Wine if you are too lazy to bother pirating Windows to run in a VM.

Yes, it is.

Why drag George Bush Jr. into this?
and of course, destroy the gloves after use.

There's always somebody who just has to look.
Why would you bother phoning the bank after the call, other than to warn them that someone is trying to defraud you?
No, he's from America, where it's "shoot first, questions later"

Of course, you also get a 12 cubic foot backpack filled with batteries to keep it running for 30 minutes...
hey, that's my brain you are touching!
It's been done, but I understand you hesitation at getting involved with your own mother.
Oh yes they are immune, because it's all done over the internet.

No, as they are doing a global 'man-in-the-middle' attack on the internet.
No, the CEO will be even less computer aware than that guy. Most likely, the CEO will have his secretary print out his email. And read it to him.
It'll ship with a vibrator attachment.
"Honey, I need to go out to the garage and check the car..."
What do you mean?

Finally, a first post that makes some sense.
'buying' is an overstatement. More like "Given and ordered to use".

That would be batshit crazy. Dumbing down the interface because you have less data.
Unfortunately, it is the Microsoft way.
Right. Two weeks later, the rest of the crew show up and wipe out your family.
