I'm all for that... A few weeks ago, this woman (on her mobile phone) cut right accross the front of me, from the outside lane to the inside (I was in lane 2)...
It suprised me so much that I nearly dropped my razor into my corn flakes;-)
It would probably be cheaper if they were to take the apollo blueprints and build the same moon ship using today's technologies.
They would probably be able to shave 5-10 tons from the launch mass just by using modern materials alone, not to mention the miniturisation that has occured in most of the equipment they would need to carry.
It says here, Mr Gates, that you released 32 security advisories and 21 vulnerability fixes for Windoze 2000 Server in the first six months, yet for Windoze 2003 server you 14 flaw fixes and 6 critical issues...
Would this be because W2K3 server is based on Windoze XP code and that the majority of bugs had been ironed out already in the months between the releases?
Here, here.
When I was a rug rat, my folks used to sit me on the floor with a bucket or two of Lego.
The themed sets they sell nowadays just don't IMO have the same intelectual stimulation of just letting your kids imagination decide what they're going to build... You even get a book with 'em.
I also despaired when Meccano went the same 'Themed' way, because, Meccano was my natural progression from Lego... Lets hope they change their mind as well.

You're forgetting that India has also pledged to start it's own space program and have a man on the moon by 2025 (I think).
Europe and Japan have also shown interest in getting to the moon
Makes you wonder what, exactly, all those NASA probes have found up there...
"We don't hear much about China's space program because they're ~20 years behind us"
This maybe the case, but,
1. Can you remember the moment when Japan stopped building nasty horrible automobiles and started producing some of the worlds finest?
2. It's been 30 years since any of you boys went to the moon, so, by your calculation, they're already well capable of getting there on their own
They may have already shown up...
The caveman that found them, however, is now having to wait for electricity, so that he can take advantage of his good fortune ;-)

Windows Longhorn service pack one, however, is scheduled for release in Q4 2007.
I was thinking more along the lines of.. "I'm sorry officer, it's this damn Martian speedo I had fitted..."
That's a damn good point... Would that make my cars top speed faster or slower...? :-)
They could call it Crap-ster :-)
