The Supremes have often ruled against big business and my point was that in this case, the Supremes asked both sides some critical questions that will be important for their final ruling on the matter of P2P, their business model and the right to have innovative technology.
if it showed up on my doorstep today, I'd probably have to drag the damn thing inside just to keep it from freezing to death. Turn it into some sort of pet. At least it would teach the neighbours to keep their dogs on a leash, and their cats from roaming the neighbourhood.

Apparently, you have not seen OU Sooner fans. We are tame but fanatical. We do not fight or kill or maim. We just yell cuss words and things like "kill" "break" "maim" and stuff along those lines. I usually lose my voice somewhere along the way.
Well, we are a very capable species. We will not die off easily. Aids/HIV are dangerous and deadly to us. It was just a matter of time before our own bodies figured out how to survive this virus. We have a good package to work with.

I do not believe it is possible to find completely truthful information. I think the best thing a person can do is read all sides of the debates and make up their own mind. Education is the key. Besides wikipedia, here is Politics1. Politics1 gives you links to all of the varying ideologies of the current debates. Maybe this will help.

You guys are weird. I divorced my husband for my son. Why are you guys arguing so much? Yikes. I divorced the father for reasons that I refuse to talk about. I can tell you they were serious reasons but enough!!!!!
I can not believe the judgements put forth in a thread that started innocently discussing my son's intelligence regarding computers. I would think that this story shows that my son is not only stable and caring but highly intelligent. He was worried about his father's computer.
That being said, no one here knows what I went through and I am not going to go into it. I will say that I got divorced so that my son would have a STABLE environment. I divorced his father for HIS sake and it had nothing to do with me. Sometimes that is the only choice to be made.
BTW, I am also intelligent enough to not bring any other men into his life and confuse him. Therefore have not dated in two years and I am perfectly happy with this arrangement.
called me tonight to inform me that his father does not have firefox. My son was upset and downloaded Firefox for his browser. Apparently, my ex-husband has been having problems with my son's games while with dad. We are divorced. My son informed me that his father had a lot of problems with his computer but he was going to fix it. He downloaded Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, Mozilla Firefox and he would explain these to his dad. Uhh....he is 10.
I think we are making progress.:)
