yes, but any commercial building (school, stores, offices) will usually be all fluorescent. there never was much of a concern until CFLs became popular, i'm not saying there isnt an issue but that it may be overblown.
you do know you have atmosphere in your home right?
yes, you get a higher concentration if you break a bulb, but you do know that it isnt just CFLs that contain mercury right? all FL bulbs do, it's how they work.
Thats whats nice with Johns patch set, he combines them all and makes sure they all play nice together. If there is one that he doesnt have he will add it if he finds it at all useful.
1 patch. John Simpson has made a combined patch set including some of his own improvements/fixes. he also has alot of other documentation and is quite active on a couple mailing lists related to qmail.
some do, i can get most of my guide for the OTA Digital via info in the digital stream (myth calls it EIT, not sure if thats a myth term or not) but it's only a few hours ahead and not all the channels support it.
there are ways to avoid this problem also, or atleast lessen the impact. my server will watch for non existant addresses being tried from a single ip, when a threshhold is hit the server drops the connection, i can then block that ip via tcp.deny or any other method and they cannot try again.
we wont see a wide screen ipod yet, Apple will want to sell iPhones first, i guestimate a year before the first widescreen ipod. i do belive the ipod will get the 100gb hd at this time though.
other than the transfer speeds i have no limits that i've hit yet, and no ports blocked, and it just works. and verizon wonders why i wont switch to their del for $10 less and twice the speed.
no, what he's talking about is a simple view sorting problem and incorectly set time on the server or sending computer, i have this problem with payment notifications from verizon, always at the bottom of the list sorted by date (newest at top) and thus you don't see it when clicking on the folder.
the capslock key is NOT useless, mine is on 90% of the work day, and almost everyone else in the office has theirs on 100% of the day, CAD drawings are all caps, and thats what capslock is for, all caps.
And their business product isn't very good imo, hopefully the home stuff is much better.
They're getting more than just a building. There are other tenants that they will get rent from, and that is figured into the price.
It hasn't happened yet, and I don't see it happening for another couple years at the earliest.
The Year of the Linux Desktop is the year that i switch completely to a Linux Desktop.
I was Geeky, when Geeky wasn't cool.
same basic principal.

Alot of computer parts are now RoHS compliant, thus contain no lead.

Alot of College campuses use a central steam plant for the same reason, it's easier and safer (no gas leaks in a building)

It's the same in the US, goes for both radio and tv, there is a license for each to allow "public" viewing/listening

there has been a session saver extension for ff since arouns the 1.0 release, still after opera had it though
pfsense does allow console access via ssh, i have dnetc running on mine without a problem.
