There's a special nod to Achewood fans in my original post, though perhaps that's why you mentioned the fruit of Onstad's genius in the first place.
Not a lot of surprises, but pleasent none the less

PAX Embiggened For 2007
·
· Score: 2, Informative
The first PAX was indeed in 2004.
This new venue was being talked about before PAX even opened last year, as there was far too little room for the gamers and talent that showed. Here's to hoping the larger spaces translate into less standing on line.
Freezepop also comes as little surprise, as Jerry (Tycho) dropped their name in a Q&A panel in PAX'06 as the artists he was most interested in providing a venue for. Here comes a special con!

Your albums would not be complete without the comedic sketches between your songs. Do you believe they place your pieces within an important (if somewhat fantastic) context that would otherwise be lacking? Or, rather, are the skits there primarily for humour's sake?
Which one of your songs has generated the most conversation and debate? I refer here not necessarily to raw attention, but discussion (whether in interviews, conversations with fans, or criticism from your detractors).
Please, might you rock Vancouver?

If you get any sort of cable service what so ever, you'll be able to tune into a 24-hour baduk channel. I learned a lot just by watching. Channel numbers always seemed to hope around when I was living in Seoul, but the Go channel was usually close to the all-day Starcraft channel...
There was a link a few months ago to the first part in a nostalgic series on programming early home pc games, written by a British fellow. It was a great read, and I wanted to see more, but I've since lost it. Anyone know where I might find it again?
Please, please, please check out Mountain Equipment Co-op's Darwin Daypack. I've been using it for over a month, and I'm very pleased with its performance/protection.
I'm not sure if the/. community as a whole is much aware of this treasure of a Canadian company, but I think a lot of us could save money on quality gear there. Poke around at http://www.mec.ca/ and let me know what you think.

I, for one, welcome our new viral overlords.
to not listen to crappy Prog like Pain of Salvation.
So what if they loose on each transaction. They can just make it up in VOLUME.
...spam trashes you!

PERFECT! That's exactly the story I couldn't turn up. Thanks for your time, Ade_.
