Hydropower is evil. It kills fish and alters the flow o rivers downstream (holy rivers to some). And it screws up the natural distribution of sediments and nutrients to land downstream.
At least that's what all the fish huggers tell us about our hydropower.
Sadly, there appears to be support across parties for this. Although many of the Democratic presidential candidates (and Donald Trump) oppose it. At least publicly, that is. Once someone gets into office, I predict that there will be a closed door session with business leaders and the new president. And (s)he will suddenly 'see the light'.
... until the COTSBots start reproducing out of control. And they evolve, having discovered that the prey on land is easier to pursue. Particularly when distracted by a species developing in symbiosis with COTSBot.... the iPhone.
Because the existing laws don't seem to be preventing this sort of behavior. In reality, its more of a statistical effect. Where the large increase in the number of drones (RC aircraft, etc.) in the hands of morons result in such incidents occurring more frequently.
For someone with a proven track record, we could always nominate Hans Reiser.

Will Windows just throw up a bunch of nag screens? Will it become crippled? Or perhaps refuse to run altogether?
Cyclists can't even legally take a left hand turn.
Really? I see them do it all the time. Some of them even manage to do it legally.
There will be one, right? Or will Microsoft's executives risk arrest and charges of espionage when they travel overseas?
They own the rights to the Arctic. Let them deal with it.

if competent science teachers
Because being a science teacher (competent or otherwise) isn't a precondition for a drone operator's license.
Why do we need "new laws"
Because the existing laws don't seem to be preventing this sort of behavior. In reality, its more of a statistical effect. Where the large increase in the number of drones (RC aircraft, etc.) in the hands of morons result in such incidents occurring more frequently.
The drone hit some seats.
So if I brought my pistol to the US Open and fired it straight up, you'd be OK with that if it only hit an empty seat?
From TFA:
A teenage boy has had a crime of making and distributing indecent images recorded against him
In the USA, no crime is recorded until the courts return a verdict of guilty.
The police determine the guilt/innocence of a suspect? And they determine the remedial and/or punitive measures to be taken?
What did you folks do with your courts? Please don't tell me you closed them. I thought those wigs were cool.
What am i missing
Perhaps it takes a lot less wash water than the amount that is cleaned per cycle. Typical of many filtering systems.

Excepting Secretaries of State, of course.
I just aliased the reformat command to the word 'Benghazi'.
But we can still cry over them.
