    "Congresstrash from flyoveria". This blatant statement of bias invalidates the rest of your argument. Cities thrive on immigration because immigrants = $Federal Funding$; eg Free Money. This allow cities to build more infrastructure which creates larger local government which requires more $Federal Funding$. US cities are self destructing from the inane regulations from this Free Money.[br][br] Immigrants raised on the tit of Free Money never leave the tit of Free Money. Go find the study which shows in detail how the first, second, and third generations of immigrants stay on Free Money benefits and never leave the Free Money teat.

    I've been a system administrator for over 15 years. I can count on one hand how many times I had to touch the init system.

    Then you haven't been trying hard enough. Any organization with even a hint of unique internal business processes requires modification of the init system.

    Yes, they wanted a single-payer system. But they want the Government to be the single payer so the bureaucratic army of paper-pushing micro-managers can verify everyone is being treated equitably. Which costs more, not less, so less money is left for patient care. Lose/Lose

    Everyone wants their micro-managing middle persons taking peoples money to grind the red tape wheel. We just need to ditch the mandatory micro-managing middle persons.

    According to the NDAA and POTUS Executive Orders, all that is required is merely to label, not accuse, them as Domestic Terrorists. Then the US Federal Government can seize all their funds, detain them without warrant, and confiscate any assets associated with generating these funds.

    Oh, that's right, the US government is already started on the confiscation of assets; POTUS has already declared all assets belong to all the communist people of America.

    We have a winner. I am seeing this very poli-drama being played out right now at my institution. The multi-decade tenured staff will not change from business processes implemented to fit a bad system bought 3 decades ago; and will not listen because they don't have to.

    You can still install via floppies...

    I installed OS/2 first, pulled the distro from a BBS, then installed Slackware from boot floppies and the FAT partition where I downloaded the distro. If I remember correctly, this required significantly fewer floppies. And the 9600 baud modem could spend all night pulling down the distro for the next morning.

    What a nightmare

    The dentist cracked my lower right tooth in half for the extraction, I woke up and grabbed his arm right at the wrist. An excited flurry of action and I was back under. I think they upped the dose after that.
