    One really scary things is, that #Metoo is now weaponized, and you can now ruin a man's life with the mere accusation, with little to no proof, and little to no penalty for the woman falsely accusing the man.

    Kevin Spacey. As far as I am aware and can find with a quick check on Wikipedia, nothing was ever proven yet he was summarily fired from everything he was participating in.

    Is there really any difference if this new version comes out in time for Christmas sales of 2019 or early in 2020? You get to use the one you have until then instead of just sitting there, forever waiting for the FINAL console that is better than any other ever, past or future.

    So every time a new candidate appears we just have to find someone willing to say that this particular candidate ALSO did something in the 80s that no one can verify, and eventually we end up with no Supreme Court in the US.

    That system is totally not open to abuse because everyone is honest and kind.

    At the same time, the codecs used for video compression have improved, meaning most TV show episodes are about half the size as compared to 2011. The cap-friendly size back then was 350 MB for a typical 40 minute episode, now it's around 200 MB for 40 minutes.

    Which is called expropriation and happens in the 'civilized' world as well under the guise of 'for the public good'.

    We aren't that much better, we just don't do it as often and as blatantly. Usually there will be money involved for the guy losing property.

    Not to mention a board of directors only has so many seats. You can't get the young white guy, old white guy, young white woman, old white woman, young black guy and so on and so forth to fit into the five or so seats available.

    Look at jury selection processes for an example.

    You are assuming by default that the women will do a better job than the men do simply because they are women. What will you say if the women end up making even WORSE decisions?

    I am really looking forward to the lawsuits deciding whether a post-op or pre-op transgender person (is transgender the right term to use? I honestly don't know) is one gender or the other as it comes to sitting on the board for some company.

  23. I'll agree with the games, but the operating system is similar to having a large enough patch of grass on which to play soccer. Somebody's gotta pay for that.

    For the games, well, there ARE free alternatives which will teach you as much about the general genre as kicking a ball around with your friends teaches you about professional soccer. Team Fortress 2 is a 'substitute' for Counterstrike and Overwatch, for example.
