Seems to me the author doesen't understand OpenSource. If he doesen't like it, he shouldn't use it, rewrite it or pay someone to rewrite it. It's free after all. If all those Photoshop users that dislike gimp would pay someone to change it like they pay those who made photoshop they would certainly like it.
Such behaviour is realy bad, I'm using my own SMTP for a long time and more and more Mailsprovider block me simply because I'm from a dailup-ip. Blacklisting is imho no good way to fight spam.
Shutting down the Mailserver would reduce the spam at about 100%... much more effective!
I'm reading all this stuff about cross platform programming... why the hell would Microsoft do crossplatform stuff? To release people from Windows? Smells like a trap... crossplatform my a**.
Drugs are still better than dropping out of scool, loosing all sozial contacts, beeing drawn back for about 5-10 years in your ruined life and posting hopeless comments on shalshdot in bad english, because you never learnt it or anything else that could challange your mind... i know what i'm talkin about... hey wait.. forgot my happy pills... there.. better... hey.. drugs are 3v1l !!!11!1

The center of gravity in opensource projects is the sourcecode. That's why it works.

The man pages are the typical standard, but they are a far cry from what Ms. PJ is asking for (and many others as well).
Give them a nice gtk or qt browser for manpages and they will be happy.
Why should anyone fight about this? Gnome 2.6 was released, the war is over, the gnome has won.
I haven't used this zero-install stuff much but the roxfiler simply rocks because it's lightning fast, useful and good looking.
