I didn't see anything about FM from the sonystyle page for the product, but this seemed novel (usefull or annoying, I don't know):
Easy Toggle Navigation: Navigate through tracks, albums and settings by using the large face of the product and "rock" it back and forth to make a selection.

Today, November 10th 2004, Joker.com introduces the domain lock feature as announced. All domains will be protected through "domain lock" per default. Unlocking (and also locking, of course) can be performed in the 'service zone' as needed.
The intention for this is to improve security and simplicity for our customers.
One thing that's going to strike me as funny is if the very real chance the we have the same situation as the last presidential election with the parties reverse. Kerry could win the electoral without winning the popular. I'm waiting for the 'Re-Defeat Kerry 2008' Stickers. Watching the parties argue and complain the exact opposite position is going to be great.
This was the complaint of my professor for Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science. Hey, look, they all have the same correct answer, and came to it by the same method, and it matches the solution posted for another class at a different school.
I guess they had to get rid of it. With $100 drop across the table, they would have been cheaper than the minis. Unfortunately, my price point would have been the 15gb with the $100 drop.

Only magazines I'm subscribed to: MIT Technology Review and ACM Queue. Tech Review seems to combine both the gee whiz of popular mechanics with decently in depth informaiton of the technology from multiple perspectives (business, purely technical, ethical, etc). Queue has been useful for gather information on different software practices/issues.
From what I've heard (which I could be wrong) Airbus receives some pretty major governmental subsidies that their US competitors like Boeing don't receive--or at least not at the same scale.
Zoos are the plauge. To think they're government funded, full of naked animals, and they even allow, no, encourage kids to patronize them. Shoot, I know people that let their pets walk around the house naked all the time, but I guess that's in the privacy of their homes, so it would be alright.
Not saying that I agree or disagree, but I just wanted to check the validity of the information by checking the BLS, and in the Occupation Outlook section they say this for "tomorrow's jobs":
Employment in professional, scientific, and technical services will grow by 27.8 percent and add 1.9 million new jobs by 2012. Employment in computer systems design and related services will grow by 54.6 percent and add more than one-third of all new jobs in professional, scientific, and technical services. Employment growth will be driven by the increasing reliance of businesses on information technology and the continuing importance of maintaining system and network security. Management, scientific, and technical consulting services also will grow very rapidly, by 55.4 percent, spurred by the increased use of new technology and computer software and the growing complexity of business.
Only as far as needing to use large applications you're installing. It's not like you need to monitor the computer as it's emerging. And after that first emerge, it's really just a few ebuilds here and there if you update it every couple weeks.

Jason's my favorite of the three as well. Is this going to be a slashdot poll?
I have literally had my own investment guy sit there and tell me that a particular investment 'cannot lose', in the presence of his lawyer
Investment bankers are salesmen, akin to car dealers. If unable to avoid them, they should be handled with care and suspicion.

I think a lot of people convinced themselves that CS was a lot more interesting in the job place then it actually is
I'm just worried you're going to find the same thing out about law.
