Reseach the economic state the US was in just before Reagan. Reagan did the same thing JFK did, lowered taxes which increases revenue.
Reagan's policies are widely recognized as bringing about the second longest peacetime economic expansion in U.S. history, surpassed in duration only by the 1990s expansion that began under George H. W. Bush in 1991. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaganomics
I used to run over to the airfield and fill up on airplane fuel for my 1969 Barracuda many years ago on the weekend. That 100 octane shaved a little time of my quarter mile runs.
There is nothing illegal about being a monopoly. It is when the monopoly uses its market size to crush competition, like MS did with Netscape for instance, that it becomes illegal. By giving away a web browser for free they made it so Netscape couldn't compete in the open market and survive financially.
It is about distance between stops not speed of travel. 90 an hour isn't that high an income these days. Kids getting out of school make 1/2 that, in the right field.
..... because I have a wife and 3 kids in a vehicle with a 42 gallon tank that goes 800+ miles @ 75 miles an hour. Cost per mile is not a big consideration. Travel distance between stops is.
Don't forget that Medicare dictates what and if they pay for a procedure.
All health care groups have people that specialize in Medicare billing because of this.
Here is an example of how it works....
Dr - I just did open heart surgery and saved that patients life.
Gov't - Wow! That is SUPER AWESOME!!
Dr. - It took 2 surgeons, 3 nurses, several hours in an OR room, lots of blood transfusions, etc...
Gov't - Cool, we pay 1,000 for Open Heart Procedures
Dr. - It cost us 25,000 to do the procedure
Gov't - 1,000 take it or leave it.
Dr. - Ok here are the forms for reimbursement.
Gov't - We're sorry you didn't check box 62 on page 1243
Dr. - Dammit! Ok here is the form with the box checked
Gov't - We're sorry we already processed this
Dr. - I know. You said it was filled out wrong so I corrected it.
Gov't - We're sorry we can't process this twice.
Dr. So how do I get paid?
Gov't - Fill out the forms correctly next time.
Dr. - I was unable to stay in business with the high cost of insurance and low reimbursement from payers like Medicare.
Unemployment Office - Wow that sucks! You have an experience with French Fries?
Obviously my post isn't scientific......
I was involved in a very terrible car accident. A woman with 2 small children pulled out in front of me while I was traveling about 45 MPH. I had about 20 feet to stop. I didn't stop but did manage to not hit the back of the car, I hit the front.
I know my perception was it took a long time for impact. I remember seeing the kids face in the rear window screaming as I closed on the other car. I wondered, after the fact, in situations like this if your brain doesn't go into some hyper processing mode. Kind of like a filming with a high speed video camera. The act of remembering is kinda like playing the high speed film back at normal speed..... slo-mo.
or maybe I'm just crazy...
Funny, I was hit with shrapnel while wearing Kevlar and am still breathing. If I had not been wearing it i would never have survived. The secret to armor is layers, it may get through the first few layers but it isn't going to slice through the whole suit. The flexibility actually helps to protect you by dispersing the energy across a larger area than the surface of the object striking you.
Your cup / box analogy is the stupidest example you could have thought of. How about adding a form fitting cushion around the cup and then hitting it. The box and cushion will absorb a lot of energy (by flexing) before the cup breaks.

- or - walk in to an ER... You will be treated and walk way without paying
When calling people morons you should try to spell it right.
Really? How that 64 Bit Cisco VPN client working for you?
I think it should be called Windows Vista SE.
No worries......It only took a week of testing to verify Vista was ready for prime time.
I think you meant suppository
Oh sorry that was just a twitch from the electric shock..... its dead!.
you're a Fireman

Unless you use a Linux boot disk.....

It was meant to be funny.
I work in IT, for a healthcare organization.
Comparing a paper MCSE, who goes to a 6 week bootcamp to someone who spends a decade learning a skill with very long hours and low pay is silly.
Anyone can get an MCSE, few can make it through to become doctors..... that is why they will never be unemployed except by choice or conviction.

Wow...... underclocking what a concept!
I think the story goes.... God sent Jesus, and the Jewish elders had him killed by the Romans.
