I wish the ballot would have asked me about gay marriages.
Instead i got some inane question about a topic I did not know much about (my answer was NO): "Should Philadelphia borrow to help revitalize the streets, parks, etc......." While this sounds like a good thing - I just don't trust my local gov't (very corrupt) enough to give them a chance at playing with more money at *my* expense without knowing the full details.
At least with things like "Should we ban or approve gay marriages" - it is straight forward and I can choose on my personal knowledge.
See the problem is - they spent too much money and brainpower actually assigning a sound statement to "USA PATRIOT" letters instead of making it a sound act.
lol...I liked six and seven...i couldn't stand 8... 9 is not bad (playing it now - though the side quests can be insane)....
But the reason I love 1 so much cause it was the first one i played - i really liked it. My friend sat beside me - he had the huge map and would navigate and tell me what to utilize on the monsters - we played this game for hours on end:D Maybe it was because i was in junior high and remember it more fondly...obviously todays games are better in graphics/music/story/etc...but still ---FF1 always holds a soft spot for me:D
One thing to note for Japanese jobs - people in Japan do not job jump as much as we do in the US. In Japan - moving around too much (company to company) is bad for the resume. So when someone leaves a company - it tends to be a big deal.
Ahh FF1 - still my favorite all time...Though FFX is tied or a close second...have yet to play FFX-2, and I won't play FF online due to the monthly membership costs and the fact that they delete your account if you neglect to pay for one month.
Not necessarily, they could have tested them while having the lifetime counters offline (pull the plug just like in a speedometer). Obviously this plug should be accesible since it may need to be repaired
Well, as for my mayor (J. Street) - i hate his guts, and so do many democrats here in Philly. Unfortunately, race plays a big deal in voting in this city.
It's called BushSpeak...this person is obviously a former Bush supporter. We should welcome this person to the flock and try and help his change from Bushisms.
Not cost effective anymore? Not trying to nitpick, but was dual layer ever cost effective? I will go out and buy a dual layer drive (i presently have an 8x single layer) when the price drops to less then a buck per dual layer dvd.
It is a paraphrase of a better link from the same site from (select the location antartica). Their text takes it out of context what the rest of the statement says.
The statement on the page specific to the United states is poor to say the least since it doesn't explain the entire situation.
Australia, Chile, and Argentina claim Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) rights or similar over 200 nm extensions seaward from their continental claims, but like the claims themselves, these zones are not accepted by other countries; 20 of 27 Antarctic consultative nations have made no claims to Antarctic territory (although Russia and the US have reserved the right to do so) and do not recognize the claims of the other nations; also see the Disputes - international entry
Apparantly 20 of the 27 nations have not made any claims. And apparantly those 27 do not recognize claims by other nations. I think your paraphrasing is incorrect.
OR....given our resources, man-power, different tastes for different things - we can do multiple things like: explore our oceans, our bodies, etc AND explore space.
As shown in our society - we can do all these things. There is no rule that says "We can only explore three things at a time - pick."
The only problems we do have is that our gov't gets suckered for these extremely expensive companies who price gouge us so badly that it actually stifles innovation.

Well thats just wishful hoping.
Howard is targeted so much because he is number 1. It is easy to target number 1 and generally it is done so.
Howard also sets precedents - is taught in classroom (college) communications classes, etc. He is influential to say the least, and a big threat to conservatives.
Hence, Howard gets targeted.

Speak for yourself
"If you couldn't vote for Kerry or Bush, who would you choose?"
Because voting for one of the minority parties is a waste. The last one to run of note was Nader and he admitted that he was just trying to get a 5% vote so his party could get funding.
People from other nations tend to be a lot more aware of the world community
You can back this up yes? I have done many studies in communication where people in other countries have no clue what is going on here. A noteworthy (and related issue) was a reporter who learned that Iraqi's (during Desert Storm) did not hate Americans, they hated American gov't. As far as they knew, Americans were under the same kind of gov't as they were - dictatorship. They had no clue that we vote for our leaders. However, due to their poor English language they would say "Die Americans" and not realize they need to say "Dia American policy." When I say Iraqi's, I do not mean every one, but in this case - most of the common folks.
So other people from other countries ARE ignorant to the US and other countries. It's not that small of a planet, and people are concerned with actions that immediately affect them.
that US citizens who happen to be abroad cannot access his site...lets see that includes US soldiers, US envoys, business people, vacationers, etc.

Hmm is it nano meters or nautical miles that they are referring to? Since they mention the sea, it seems that they are talking about nautical miles
