    Well, the 8800GTS is just under $300 while the new ATi card is $430, the budget leans towards nVidia and some extra RAM or a hard drive.

    Honestly, if your Macbook gets compromised and someone can turn your camera on and receive video from the iSight, you've got bigger problems than YouTube. Namely, how the fuck did you get pwnt that badly in OS X. Plus, I don't have the display pointing at my crotch, so there's not really a big issue there for me.

    The Halo franchise is just another Madden style brand. It's a game for morons who have never played a real FPS and don't know what "good" is. Their FPS experience is Halo, and it's not an AWFUL game, it's not better than Metroid or Half Life.

    Why? If the little green light's not on, the camera's not on. It's in the firmware, and would require your entire computer to be pwnt 10 times over for anyone to be able to disable the little green light (if it's even possible). I have a MBP and used to be the kind of guy who turned Webcams around when I wasn't using them, but as long as the green light's not on, I can fap in privacy.

    I don't know the average running temps for the stock speeds on your card, but I guarantee that it idles at less than 99c. Running hotter means it will last much shorter, and you're also increasing the case temps warming up the rest of your computer, shortening those components lives, as well.

    Directly, you're right. But think about what your brakes do. You wasted gas accelerating to the point that you needed to use your brakes, or you kept in the gas too long so you need to use your brakes.
