Not really, some think that downloading copyrighted works is stealing, and it's not. Neither is this.
If I trick you into selling me your bike as if it was a pack of gum, I did not steal your bike. I may be an asshole without morals, but I didn't steal a damn thing.
If I hide something inside of another file and use that "something" to gain access to your computer, I'm commiting "cyber terrorism" by "unleashing trojans upon the intarwebs"
Theft? You gave them money. The person at the register should have noticed that the bike rang up as "JuicyFruit" instead of "Huffy" and I would call that an error in your favor.
eXeem does not use anything related to BitTorrent. They don't use the protocol or.torrents or anything. It's a p2p program created to get around using trackers. Which sounds a lot like eDonkey (or Mule or Overnet), Kazaa, or any other existing p2p program.
Is sad. When anybody can change the entire entry without anybody noticing.. the "Douche" entry was insulting some girl with first and last name for about a week or two before it was changed.
Without a serious review system, I can see it becoming a nest of crap that no one will be able to use.

But it's NOT theft. Which was the point I was making.

Are these companies not breaking the law?
The guy's more of a troll than you are, don't expect him to post anything.
I think he's just some 13 year old kid.

Now the slashdot group is #1 in users and #10 in points returned.
I listened to the interview, and he did not say "one small banner ad" he said "It will be ad supported and you will be able to turn some of them off"
Adware = crapware in my book.

Good job, they invented the wheel.
You seem to have missed the joke.
Sarcasm is hard to get across via the intarweb.
There's going to be ads and crud with eXeem?
So basicly it's Kazaa without the quality of programming.
Goodie.
Sounds to me like you've been drinking already today.
You aren't missing much...

Never heard of a pacific rim job, but I know someone who'll give you a plain rim job for $20
Oh yes, 270 comments.. 30 good ones.
Lets mod something down!
Maybe they also packed a Roomba?
You can learn how to post on /.
If you want plain old text, select it from the drop-down menu next to "Preview"..
Or, you can throw in a pair of [br][br] and use HTML Formatted.
So you can't keep an XP box running, good job.
You want Linux? Try fedora.redhat.com
Don't want Fedora, try googling for something.
And about cutting it short to get first post.. WTF for?
This isn't K5, grow up.
... Your "box" shutting down.. and you blame Microsoft before anything else? Do have a UPS? Is your hardware stable? Stable drivers?
Why didn't you save your work?
Why would you even be using XPSP2?
Never heard of it.
"Forgive me for the large images, I didn't have the time to scale them down, these are just copied straight from the digital camera."
We may, but your server won't.
