  2. If you are doing biological simulations, I'm pretty sure you'd want to use an actual random source, rather than psuedo-random. You even state yourself, the result isn't what you would want. Leave PRNG to things like computer game AI and song playlist randomization.

    No it isn't. Not at all. The latest gen phones not supporting an SD card is a stupid marketing trick to get you to purchase a phone with larger internal capacity. This says absolutely nothing about anything else. Sane portable devices will still use an expandable memory slot for a long long time to come.

    You are only half right. PvPGN can facilitate communication with the server, the actual emulated server is D2GS.

    They do this pretty often. It is the "Malicious software removal tool" and it has been part of updates via Windows Update for bloody forever (as far back as XP, anyway)

    X was built with a client/server architecture paradigm. These days, the X server doesn't do anything, because the local client uses the local display directly, skipping the server altogether. At this point, all we really need is a compositor. Wayland fits nicely.
