Keep OS X and just run linux in VMWare Fusion. OS X has its perks... if Apple releases firmware updates, you'll get them. If you're running linux, you won't.
I remember the fuss they made over that mammoth DC recovered a fear years back. They were going to do all this DNA mixing with modern elephants yadayada, and still to this day I haven't heard anything else about it. Great that they found the mammoth baby, but at this point its boy who cries wolf when they claim they can potentially mix the DNA. No more false promises or "possiblies" until proven.
Why would one bother using Linux if OS X offers all the features (well ok, most) of Linux, and the only feature Windows has -- some games (WoW anyone?). I've finally made the switch to Ubuntu on my work PC, but would be just as productive in the OS X environment w/o the need to ditch Aqua. Besides, XOrg can easily be installed in OS X...
This game came and went when Duke Nukem Forever bashing was at its peak. Manhattan Project was more of a side scroller with a 3d twist, but was still a ton of fun. I don't know why this was stayed under the radar, I found it a ton of fun personally... and it still had the twisted humor.
Hits the nail on the head. And with BootCamp, Windows users who bought a Mac have the freedom to delve into OS X for a little each day, while still having the security to boot back into Windows, their known platform.
I've been using Macs for years, but started using Windows for the games. Finally I can have the best of both worlds on my new Mac. This was the straw that broke the camels back for me, I'm going back to Mac, and never turning back again!
Its all part of the IGN monopoly. Even beta testing games now requires a FilePlanet or 3dGamers account. Very frustrating. It is difficult to tell what games are good, but its easy to tell which games have publishers with deep pockets.

Microsoft tried to beat Google at their own game with their new search systems, it would be funny if Google becomes a threat to Microsoft's age-old game of operating systems and office packages. They've got the financial backing and positive reputation.
He's right. MC took our guild 6 months from beginning to end, and that was including reading up on stategies. This is what keeps the game intersting... having a challenge.
We killed our first BWL boss (Razorgore) last week after after about 3 weeks of attempts. We're going again next week, and may not even get him again. It is *that* difficult.
Vael wiped us out in less than 30 seconds.
Shameless plug: There are even uber items in the game to reward dedicated players. Here's a short clip of the Thunderfury, a weapon that extremely few priviledged people on the server get a chance to own, or even see:

Real is nazi. I'd be the first to agree. However attacking Real directly with an undercover patch is bullshit. The customer is the one who loses.
I agree Apple should protect music they sell on iTunes, the iPod should be an open device so people can add other codec support such as Ogg.
Did anyone really figure anything different would come out of this?
I'm a die-hard Mac fan, but Apple really does have a way of getting away with murder when they pull Microsoft-like actions.
Granted they need their protection, I thought this was the company that embraced Open-Source?
I think it should be "Selectively Embraced Open Source", thanks for the code guys!
Judging by the harsh criticism of the timing of this post, I'd bet that the getting-a-piece-of-ass factor of/. readers is at an all-time low.
This should not be that offensive people.. it's not like he posted something on the latest in fashion in NYC
I bet that keyboard is pretty damn uncomfortable. He ripped some holes in the bezel right under the ZXCV keys.
I'm a big fan of HL 2, but DO NOT mess with my QWERTY!
Actually with SpamAssassin 3 and the latest bayesian, within days I stopped almost all of my spam. Even as spam gets 'smarter', my bayes filter will too.
I have Amavis + Postfix doing the other routine filtering.
Life is good now.

Clone Photoshop. It may not be the best interface, but I can assure you most people will be familiar with it.
Super Mario 3 Clone for Windows (should work with Wine too).
WoW Mod:Speed up World of Warcraft Load Times!
Apologies for the erroneous comment, The Demo is for the Manhattan Project!!

he gets to take it up the ass with a letter opener to remind him of his crimes.
