  1. Re:This is Bull Shit on Tech is the Most Lucrative Career: LinkedIn Study (axios.com) · · Score: 1

Graduated in 98. Started off entry level at 3com and then moved to a start up(post IPO) with a nice pay bump. Got laid of as well in 2002, and couldn't find a job for a year, and had to adjust to a lower salary as well. Changed jobs every few years since then with a medium bump in salary. Just started a new job at a large company with another increase in pay and compensation. Salaries these days are quite good if you have the skills and aptitude to learn new ones. Tech was the best decision of my life. Just wasn't as smooth as I wanted it to be.

Automatic trannies in these cars use the shifter as advice only. If shifted into neutral at speed, the engine would spin out, which is very damaging..

It doesn't seem you know much about cars. First of all, "spin out" isn't an automotive term. And 2nd, what do you mean by "spin out"? Modern cars have a rpm limiter which limits the RPM of the engine to some preset RPM limit. Have you ever driving a manual and hit the RPM limiter? It'll cut power to the engine. Same thing with neutral. An engine will not be damaged if you gas it in neutral, even to the RPM limit.

In point of fact, someone earning $89K has a higher income than 86% of the rest of the country. I agree with your point, but your numbers are incorrect given your link. $89K from the link is more than 93-94% of the rest of the country; not 86%.

I think the movie is original, creative, and dazzling. The costumes and setting, not to mention visuals, are amazing.

Just for that, I'd put it in my top 10.

You think the AG would ban the Wizard of Oz as well. Not only is it violent (2 witches die), but the main theme is a young female who wants out of Kansas.

Of course, maybe even the AG knows you can hide the truth about Kansas.

Look. Even the people of Topeka http://www.kansas.com/mld/kansas/news/state/930557 4.htm/ can't think of anything good about their city or state!

  12. Sony is not mostly overrated on Sony, Walkmans And The iPod · · Score: 0

Sony used to be great, but now their stuff is mostly overrated. If you search reviews on their products, you'll see that their mid level to lower level electronics don't get reviewed as well as many other companies' products. They sell now more because of name than actually quality. The other electronic companies: Toshiba, Samsung, Pioneer, Panasonic, Yamaha, etc, have caught up, if not surpassed Sony in relative quality. When you buy Sony now, you're paying a premium for the name over any real improvement in quality over the competition.

Before I make any major purchase, I like to do a lot of research. And from what I've read on reviews from experts to users, you can't take for granted that they are the best.

But don't take my word for it. Take a look for yourself.
