I've got a dell order that shipped last thursday via DHL's next day service. So far it's taken 4 days to get to aurora, CO, 1000 miles of it's 1400 mile trip. I'm expecting it to get here wednesday or thursday.
Southwest wyoming, around the 30 mile marker of I80. 30 generators with 150foot blades have gone up in the last couple months, with plans to bring it to between 104 and 214 total. One of them is so close to I80 the tips of the blades pass over the shoulder of the road. I nearly crashed gawking at those things. Plus there's a big farm going up in southeastern wyoming.
Farming and level grinding is considered similar to foreplay for a lot of powergamers. A boring and tedious process you're forced to endure before you get to the good stuff.
Actually, come to think of it, there's a LOT of similarities between their views of foreplay and sub-uber game levels. Both take time, both are tedious, afterwards you get a short period of lots of fun followed by disappointment, and both can be bypassed if you've got enough cash and a willingness to deal with shady businessmen...
No, see, they just cut access, but not the accounts. The billing keeps going, the customers can't log into their banking sites to cancel auto-payments, and they can't cancel their service because you have to log onto virgin's website to request a cancellation form.
I read it more as "Dear me, I seem to have taken a wrong turn on my way to 4chan. While this new land is strange, perhaps I can blend in if I join in the local conversation."
Yeah, wyoming is pretty high. A couple years ago the local dairy queen got shut down for having a meth lab in the basement and selling it out their drive thru.
Are ye daft?!? South Dakota is viking territory, not even a cooperative force of pirates and ninjas could take it. Even the hicks of wyoming fear a raid of viking longtrucks comming down I-90.
What the flying fuck are you talking about? Lead absorbs radiation, not reflect it. What good would lead shielding be if it just reflected it back? This stuff works kinda like a solar cell, taking the decay radiation instead of light and using it to knock electrons down a one way path.
I'm curious as to how this would work in orbit with cosmic radiation. Would it be worth it to slap this stuff on the underside of normal solar cells on satellites?
No extensions, latest version, fresh restart, and I've still seen firefox take 1.2gig ram in less than 5 minutes while browsing deviantart, my connection can't even get 50 meg of data downloaded in that much time, how can it justify 1.2gig of ram for it?
Screw Alaska, southwestern Wyoming has a huge shale oil deposit. Enough to cover the US for quite awhile AND it's pretty much sagebrush as far as the eye can see, closer to usage areas too. Tap that, crank up some breeder nukes, push some higher MPG requirements, get rid of the stigma over public transport, keep developing electrics. Then we can give the middle east the middle finger, and go back to shooting at eachother instead of them.
Think of columbus? So, instead of reaching the moon, they'll end up landing on some completely unknown stellar body in between the earth and the moon. There they'll meet the indigenous population and name them after the stellar body they think they've landed on. Moonians? Moonites?
Except for the part where they first give you cancer, diabetes, and paralysis.
Except, according to california law EVERYTHING causes cancer. So for all we know these rats were fed chocolate coated alaskan cod till their backs gave out.
Man, when union do you belong to? They make me think M-F and possibly weekends.
Next day service != a week later, or atleast it shouldn't. Fed ex/UPS 3day service gets here on time.

So when's the WiiSuit going to be announced? Stick accelerometers and IR sensors all over a bodysuit and track entire body movement.
Why are you in the first place? Office has some nice built in templates just for that.
Good luck on that, Hawking with a mind interface becomes a virtual Chuck Norris. He's so badass he can rocketjump in counterstrike!

He's a doctor, not a lawyer. Haven't you expanded his acronym? New York County Legalpractitionerofthemedicalarts.

That pun was rather half baked.
It means they'll file to get every case moved to his courtroom.

Fear the Goatse printer virus.
I'm doing a study on the study of studies. Would you care to quote on that study?
