You STILL haven't stopped "signing" every paragraph of whatever you post with your initials.
Are you going to start pimping your APKTools2010+++ v.2.9.9.9.9.666 now?
No one listen to this guy. He spent several months on Ars Technica trying to convince everyone he was some kind of super programmer, but it fell apart pretty fast when it became clear that he actually didn't know his ass from his elbow.
Can they use this information to get the goddamn HSV1 virus out of my trigeminal nerves? (And the nerves of, what, something like 80% of the population of the planet?)
I know I have terrible taste, but I LOVED that book.
Maybe they'll surprise us and do something cool with it. They surprised the hell out of me and made Daredevil suck. It was also a surprise when X-Men and X-Men 2 didn't suck.::shrug::
We should be playing them in a few months. It should be amusing to hand them their asses this year:D
More on topic (though still technically FAR afield from actual topic), what do you mean about "not being able to stand it?" I mean, it's still America. Live and let live and all that.
Wrong. If they "catch" you tethering your phone as a network access device to an external machine such as a laptop, they bill you HORRIBLY for it (in excess of an extra $80 tacked onto your bill). Buyer beware.
You're talking about a serial hybrid. Just about every hybrid on the road these days is a parallel hybrid; I don't think there are many serial cars out there because of the aforementioned lack of high-end torque. They're fine for city driving, but suck on highways.
I purchased a DX-97U a little while ago, remanufactured, and it hasn't worked once - been in the shop on warranty repair the entire time. Apparently there was some problem with the playback heads AND the tape ejection/loading mechanism.
The sad thing is that when it works, it's a BEAUTIFUL camera that produces a FANTASTIC image - especially in low light. Those Canons are great outdoors, but until very recently (and hence, very expensively) have had piss-poor image quality indoors.
My criteria for a camcorder were:
1) Must be good indoors 2) Must have a mic-in jack (because camcorder built-in audio sucks, uniformly) 3) There is no number 3.
This unit was the only one I could find that matched these specs at a reasonable price. Unfortunately I ended up screwing myself in the bargain.
at a competitive disadvantage. FreeBSD and just about every Linux distro can be downloaded, used and stored as an ISO.
Why on Earth would I want to inconvenience myself? How is it that the FreeBSD project seems to do just fine while distributing ISOs but OpenBSD just can't do it?
OBSD's installation procedure is shit, starting right from the beginning:
3.3 - Does OpenBSD provide an ISO image for download? Some other open source operating systems are commonly distributed as CD-ROM ISO images. This is not how OpenBSD is distributed.

This is why you "think this always connected stuff is a bit out of hand" and "found it to be the most invasive annoying technology I've ever used."
Clearly IM is not a "killer app" for you at all, and you would never have a use for it. Try to consider it from the perspective of a more social person.

JESUS CHRIST. This was in NEW YORK? Even in upstate NY I would expect them to be less rube-y then that. If you said Mississippi or something I'd believe it, but up here there is something seriously wrong with that.
Why don't you tell everyone about how highly rated you are on ZDNet?
Come on. Surely you're down to only one star by now.
Why don't you tell us all about APKTools and how they are the power user's wet dream?
Flipping those registry values sure is hard work, isn't it?
That's all anyone needs to see! The evidence speaks for itself! APK is my master! Iraq DEFINITELY has weapons of mass destruction!
I haven't gotten my US RDA of irony yet.
This might help, though:

lol, below zero!
Also, I love your username.

Are the conclusions that you've drawn here actually made in any significant peer-reviewed journals?

Fucking cold sores.
You misspelled "fuck."
Just thought I'd help you out.
A couple of them are pretty girls, but I could have done without the foot-licking and the cutter.
They've gotta be German. What the fuck is it with Germans and licking feet?
I REMEMBER THAT! It was the girl with the Destroyer power (could turn matter into energy and then blast it at people).
Damn. Memories.
If I could have any of their abilities, it'd have to be the gravity kid. I mean, come on - how flexible is THAT?
I can't understand anti-AIM hatred. It's full-featured, well-written, gets the job done with a minimum of fuss, and fast.
I know I have terrible taste, but I LOVED that book.

But you know what?
NONE of it has ANYTHING to do with the 9/11 attacks or weapons of mass destruction, which were the reasons Bushco gave for the invasion.
JAFFA! KREE!
Mammoth, indeed.

TDI diesel hybrids? This seems like a logical next step, and yet no one seems to be talking about them. WTF?

It's obnoxious.

And if they did this and everyone followed the law, no one could ever make a left turn.
That's absurd and easily challengeable.

How did you get the conviction overturned?
