Which wireless cards do you guys recommend for linux? I have a linksys one which for a linux n00b like me is a B!tch to install. I have heard that prism cards are linux compatable but which cards are those. Thank you for the help in advance.
I have my windows XP installed on a 10 GB partition on my 120 GB drive and Fedora Core 1 on another 15 GB harddrive. Having them on seperate drives could be the reason I haven't had any problems though.
Buying ringtones through cell phone providers is a joke. You pay $2.50 for a ringtone that will expire in 2 months. Atleast that is how Sprint is. You were able to create ringtones before just it wasn't as easy as a couple clicks. You would need to take the song in winamp or a sound recorder and trim it to 30 seconds and save it in a low quality format. Then you have to convert it using QUALCOMM PureVoice Converter.
Most people that I know get "free" ringtones already from www.3gupload.com.
Thank you so much!!!! That is exactly what I was wondering. I went to this sony booth and he was telling me the centrino processor blah blah blah and I was like well that doesnt make sense what does a processor have to do with the wifi.
Thanks again for your clarification!!
Now this is a little off topic but I have always had a question or two about the centrino processor. Now does it just have the wifi code and what not in the processor or is it just all laptops with the centrino processor have onboard wifi. If anyone can explain this to me it would be most appreciated.
A guy who works for Zvue came into my store in the mall and said we might be carrying it and wanted our opinions on it. Its pretty slick. He said they are trying to make it so you can fit a whole movie on a 128 MB card. They lower the res and FPS a little to accomplish it. It is a tid slow while playing movies, he had seinfield(sp?) on it, and it ran pretty good.

Macromedia products are the one reason I dont use linux fulltime. It will be great if they port it.
