Oh i agree campaign finance is speech. Especially since current laws explicitly state the converse. I don't have any problem with people donating whatever they want in terms of money or in kind to whatever candidate they choose. Every opinion should be represented to the best of its ability.

Except foreign interests. I do not want any candidate to be beholden to any foreign power for any reason whatsoever. I also am concerned about candidates who are simply "very sympathetic" to a foreign power's interests, especially as those interests might run counter to the very existance of our fair republic.

Too late. They're already selling digital one-shots. There are at least two levels of resolution available, though they max out at about 2.5 megapixels afaik. The cost is $20-$40 and "processing" is extra for some reason. Since they're "disposeable" you don't get another one on the cheap though.

I went the uninstall..reinstall route since I figured if failed to update one thing, it may have failed to update other things as well.

Anyway there's probably a good reason, I'm just too lazy to look it up.

Indeed. cought that on the re-read. Still I think that the word is being abused. Under the original meaning, Bill Clinton was a neocon. Ronald Regan may have been one as well, but Newt Gingrich and the Bushs could not be described that way. I'm not even sure the Bushes could be described as (any)con. Lately it just seems like a rethorical vehicle to associate conservatives, or whoever the target happens to be with hitler through word association with neo-nazis.
