You, sir, are an ignorant jackass.

Psychologists are not medical doctors, and therefore cannot prescribe medications.

Psychiatrists, however, are medical doctors, thereby rendering your argument null.

Any freshman who took Psych 101 could tell you this. You claim that the entire field of psychology is hocus pocus magic and psychologists/psychiatrists are no more qualified to help you that Miss Cleo, but you clearly haven't read a damn thing on the field. Next time, try doing some research on a subject instead of taking Tom Cruise's word for it.

You seem to be very confused about the releases of OS X. There is a big difference between 10.3 and 10.4 compared to XP and XP SP1. The difference is that Apple's "point-releases" actually add functionality. Also, the EOL for 10.4 is not when 10.5 is released. The EOL on OS X releases and Mac hardware is comparable to what you would expect from a MS release.

Apple's point releases are along the lines of 10.4.6, which includes security patches, etc.

OS X doesn't handle Samba browsing very well. I had the same problems. For example, I would try loading my download directory (which is like 40gb of mp3s) and the finder would hang trying to do its thing.

However, I switched my share over to NFS and it actually works several times faster than I ever experienced with Samba and a Windows machine.

Moral of the story, SMB protocol sucks.

This has got to be a joke. Last I knew, the only academic building on our campus that lacked access to the WLAN was our Liberal Arts building. I'm pretty sure they resolved that anyways.

But seriously, almost EVERY other building (except for the dorms/apartments) have school-owned AP's with great coverage everywhere. Hell, I picked up an excellent signal from the library and checked the bus schedule from the bus stop last year. You've gotta be kidding me.

SUNY schools have better wireless access? Get real.

Give me a break. When you rely on instant messaging as the means for communicating about important issues with someone just leads to a lack of social ability in the real world. Do you think your boss is going to IM you if you mess something up at work? How about if you get in a fight with your significant other? They aren't going to send you an IM, they are going to say it to your face.

Interacting with people is not that damn hard. Grow some courage and learn how to talk face to face. You'll be better off in the long run.
