Can you provide a link or more info? I'd sure like to know where I can get CDs shipped for $6, when they cost roughly $10 on itunes.

  2. Re:Rebates Suck on Computer Rebates Not As Sinister As You Think · · Score: 1

I don't understand why people say they waited "2 years" for a rebate to come. The process for getting you money is quite easy

    1. Fill out the forms, include the correct materials requested
    2. MAKE COPIES of everything you send in!
Now, most rebates can now be tracked online, but if this is not the case and you haven't received it after 6-8 weeks, call the number on the form. (remember, you made copies)

Really, it's that simple. Head on over to slickdeals or fatwallet and you will see thousands of people who can make this process work. If you don't receive it then chances are something is wrong and you should give them a call to straighten things out.

While going around and calling people dumbasses is fun and all, I must say the parent had a good point regarding your third statement. If you're about to build a house, it's a perfectly reasonable thing to walk around and check the strength of cell service before buying the property. After all, having cell service is pretty important to most people (myself included) and you are presumably going to live there for a while. If you barely get service on your property, then you will have none inside your future house.

If the signal is just weak you may want to get an external cell phone antenna...

You do realize that anyone can take a VOIP box to india and call as if they're from the states? I'm willing to bet these companies pay extremely low rates, considering how cheap unlimited monthly plans are.

Sure, if you're ok with driving around in tin cans that go 15 mph. Remember, this was during the same time police hired fast cyclists to catch speeding motorists. I guess they're pretty safe though if you're only going 15mph.
