    Enzymes naturally present in the wheat denature some of the starch into sugars that can feed the yeast. Added sugar is not necessary. See also "pre-ferment".

    I've got an Apple controller in my pocket - it's called an iPhone. Just look at the proposed controllers for most of the nextgen systems: they all look a lot like small tablets.

    Reading the datasheets in the back of the programmers reference manual aged 8 was one of the defining formative experiences in my relationship with programming.
