    I remember back in the day when I carried My UNIVAC portable computer! It was sooo unreliable, i constantly had to replace those hot microtubes and the battery was only 200Kw/hr. It got way to hot, when ever I wanted to add a number, I need to get a laptop cool pad :(

    As a High Schooler Student(Freshman) at a school that equips students with laptops, I have observed that most students just play games at addicinggames.com, look/Share at p0rn, Scan for spyware or chat on IM. The kids who dont use the brignt'n shiney computers are all the nerds and straight A guys. I have learned that Writing is a lot more effective than typing! This is why it would be best for students to use Tablet PC's. In fact. I am typing this in World history class as of 12:30

Yes, IT jobs are most likely on the decline but what other job fields will appear in the not-so-far-future involving a IT workforce? Someone has to manage automate machines. What do you think?

    no matter how fast the clock speed the pipline is sooooo long for P4 chips causing a sever preformance degradement. This is why G5 and AMD chips are faster at lower clock speeds because of there shorter pipline. Intels high clock speeds just look good
