Hostile work environment lawsuit in... 3... 2... 1. Putting someone in a degrading job because they refused to have medically unnecessary surgery.
Also, they'd have to pay the same for a toilet/floor scrubber as the previous jerb.
Don't pay the bills. Walk away and become a "deadbeat." "Deadbeat" is just a word used to shame people who don't do what the big corporations want them to do.
He wasn't arrested. He was fined AU$1000 for implanting a chip from a train ticket inside his hand and attempting to use it as a ticket.
He did this voluntarily, the whole thing was slightly ridiculous.
And any computer that belongs to work should be connected to a nice, firewalled guest WiFi network that doesn't talk to your main home network. They don't get to scan any other devices you own over the local network.
Take the chip. There are plenty of doctors who will testify to anything for a quick buck. Congratulations! You've just developed an autoimmune reaction to the coating of the chip, resulting in fibromyalgia and intractable pain. Seeking compensation of $10 million against the company, chip maker, and CEO's personal funds for pain, suffering, and medical costs...
What's to stop someone from explanting the fucking thing immediately and wearing it as part of something removable like a ring? The pig who pays their salary doesn't have to be the wiser.
Those aren't "security measures" -- this is most like intrusive techbros being techbros. "Security" would involve biometric authentication, possibly multi-factor. This is no better than an ID card, other than the fact it's implanted -- it can still be cloned or otherwise spoofed.
Real question: is "how the fuck is this actually better than biometrics?" Biometrics are relatively difficult to clone or spoof. A chip is just an ID card implanted in a person -- it can be cloned or otherwise spoofed more easily than the alternative.
As far as the employers, I agree with other posters' sentiments. Requiring employees to modify their bodies in such a way should be grounds for a massive lawsuit, or simply hanging from the nearest lamppost.
i.e. one lifetime wasted per year for every 700,000 users Microsoft probably has at least 1000x that many Win 10 users, so they're "killing" 1000 people per year.
Apple did the calculation with boot times back in the Mac days.
Average human lifespan is 80 years, or 2.5 billion seconds.
If you waste 10 seconds of everyone's time on looking at/downloading/processing ads every day, that's 3652 seconds. Do that to about 700,000 users, and that's one lifetime wasted.
$6 trillion to avenge 3000 American lives lost on 9/11 was not worth it at $2 billion per life. Far better to spend the money domestically helping improve and save other Americans' lives.
All three did a service to the world at large, and that matters more than country. All three deserve to be free as birds, flipping the bird to government(s) worldwide.
The only thing that might apply there is the section on electioneering communications, but the law defines such a communication so narrowly that it probably doesn't.
I believe that sunlight disinfects. The fewer secrets countries and corporations are able to keep, the better off the world is. Snowden, Assange, and Manning are all heroes.
The villains in the US are the officials that squandered $6 trillion (6 trillion dollars!) on military homicide sprees since 9/11. Money that could have been used better within the US. Want to put America first -- do it, don't give it lip service while dumping money into futile wars abroad.
Better China than the US. China treats its own citizens like crap, but doesn't push countries outside their immediate vicinity around militarily. The US has been a worldwide bully since the end of WW2.
If this is happening, THEY can be the "loser" as well -- seeking validation outside of a relationship due to low self-esteem.

Because people are COWARDS. FTFY.

Retinal scanner. Stimulate the pupillary reflex with a quick flash of light to make sure the retina is attached to a living human.

You can still use Messenger on the desktop without having an active Fecebook account.
Trying to compete with Kodi and the Pirate Bay?
There are ways to force removal of the Mail crapplet via Powershell. Also, does LTSB even come with this trash?

Shit should be a hangin' offense.
Windows 1-0:
1 symbolizes a lingam.
0 symbolizes Microsoft users' raw orifices.
It's shorthand for "Windows crams crap down their users' raw holes."

China hasn't been known to fuck with countries without a land border with them ... the US, on the other hand...

Impossible -- he's not an American citizen (or even a legal resident) and thus doesn't owe allegiance or fealty to the US.
