.......because of all the political corruption? Because our government works on the pay to play principle? Because a few hundred thousand in political donations commonly turns into hundreds of millions in profit? Or is it because Americans are the stupidest smart people on the planet?
In any enterprise implementation this will prevent any system architect or admin from permitting the installation of Firefox just from a cost standpoint. They just don't have time for the flood of support calls they'll get.
This made me think of that classic trip to the moon clip where they climb in the shell and it impacts right square in the Moon's eye.....
But that film probably had more thought and planning behind it........About fifteen minutes maybe.....
My only question is how much in sales is Amazon prepared to lose? Charging local sales tax is the kiss of death to online retailers. If I'm any example, just between the time I see the final bill and make payment if I see sales tax added I void the sale and seek the item elsewhere.
Microsoft has always utilized the insanity factor in marketing. I remember a decision by a CEO to go with a MS product because it was 'sexier'. I've learned never to argue with idiots, mental patients and people who speak only a foreign language.
I'd suggest Balmer brush up on his Gaelic. After they helped elect Obama they have nothing to complain about. Of course, with their 'skills' they'd probably lose their way trying to leave America, then make it a required 'certification' for their 'partners'.
Mr. Miscarriage is more like someone who would like the rest of us to walk around with yellow stars. That's probably where he got the idea in the first place. Wait, I feel something attaching itself to me. Could I be a 'Suppressive Person'?
And people wonder why the newspaper business is dying? The editorial board is trying to find a way they can HELP increase circulation by vetting stories to people who actually SUBSCRIBE. They want to determine how they should slant the news. The Trib is leftist, liberal paper and supporter of Obama and the Democrats. They can't survive though with that editorial slant and they know it. Circulation and Advertising Revenue is down. SOOOOOOO. They're trying to find how they can please their readers and stay in business. The reporters can keep their integrity or their paychecks. They have a choice.
What would the ramifications of proving the RIAA runs credit checks of targeted people to first determine solvency or insolvency and their ignoring of obviously insolvent people in bringing their cases? Meaning to highlight their abuse of the system to fund their efforts and not impartiality?
I'm sure it's not lobbyist it's hobbyist. His hobby is copyright law. A judge would NEVER try a case with such a blatant conflict of interest. Do they elect or appoint judges there?
Yes and the Sun rose over the Oracle. The Sun/IBM deal did make more sense and probably would have incorporated at least some of the Sun hardware technology in some hybrid form. The software side alone may in the future be worth the price but I'm skeptical. Friendships don't translate into billions overpaid in business. Ellison is a businessman. He has plans.
I agree that a hybrid is certainly feasible. The problem is the prototype - always much more expensive than the final production version. It would take a consortium to undertake. I don't see such a thing coming together in the maritime industry or among the great maritime nations.
It's not water and electricity. It's smoke and mirrors. Let them demonstrate the ROI numbers to support the necessity of expanding capacity. Certainly a well run company has an operational plan based on projected growth and usage.
I'd tend to agree with you. The OS model MS uses mandates that to install any add-ons to the base OS such as Silverlight you must have Administrative rights. That excludes a hugh portion of any networked user group. So, while Silverlight is practical among Home Users its unworkable unless a networked organization installs it first. The developers should have told the marketing people this. If they did and were ignored then they set themselves up to fail.
I thought Carl Sagan settled this twenty years ago? Didn't anyone read or see Contact? It's funding is deminimis and benefits possibly astronomical (pun intended).

Resistance to tyranny is never treason.

I think this has more to do with extorting campaign money than regulatory affairs.....

Let's bring the Ekto-Sketch for Teachers. Once they're finished just shake well.

Please! How else can the British accommodate all the Muslim Terrorist organizations on their soil and their demands for internet access.
Like Judge Norstom in the Piratebay case being a member of a copyright organization and not disclosing it.

I was thinking of my experience with camels. Ever look at a camel's foot? It's wide and soft and insulated. Sand gets very hot.
+Yea and I really resent that I can no longer get support for my Commodore 64.
