It's basically what I said. A single point of failure. 1 DNS server and 1 web server.
I don't trust anyone except myself. If there is a threat coming my way, I think my state would have a better idea about how to defend itself rather than the feds. The problem is that there are some weak governors (mine included) that would await federal approval for something they don't need approval for.
It's essentially the equivalent of 1 DNS server and 1 web server, just move it to a different location.
If all hell breaks loose, I 1) want the ability to defend myself first 2) want my state to be able to control the Natl Guard to defend it's state citizenry second.
I don't need some president to give the OK for my governor to give orders to shoot to kill in a time of crisis.
I personally think its a dialog to bring up the discussion about censoring [controlling] the internet. We know it can't be done and we also know there are big head types that thinks it can be done because their understanding of the noun 'computer' is inclusive of hardware, software, and networking. Moreover, controlling this 'computer' should just be as easy as changing a setting, right?
And we, the citizenry get no benefits compared to the space program of years past. Sure, prosthetics, bionics, and portable power comes to mind but damn, Tang, Velcro, RO water benefits everyone.
Today, the Republican Party supports a conservative platform, with further foundations in economic liberalism and social conservatism.
The current administration does not fit that definition. McCain does not fit that definition Romney does not fit that definition (although he gets points for economic liberalism) Huckabee does not fit that definition.
These supporters are then not Republican. Call them something else or change the definition of the Republican Party.
Should read: Today, the Republican Party supports goodwill through force, with further foundations in deflating currencies and spying on it's citizenry for it's security and freedom.
Huckabee won 1 Primary/Caucus - Iowa. Ron Paul has technically won 1 Primary - Louisiana.
Basically, Ron Paul is the only Republican running. The other guys are running under the Republican ticket but do not have core Republican values.
If McCain gets the nomination, the republican party deserves to be fragmented or even dissolved. This is a guy who wanted to be a Democratic VP 4 years ago.
Anyway, what's not being reported that is relevant is:
A) - Huckabee's rise with basically no money B) - Romney won Nevada with 52% of the vote - reported nowhere. C) - McCain, frontrunner to be, won South Carolina with what 36% of the vote which means that 64% voted against him.
If anybody would get the nomination, it would be Romney If anybody should get the nomination, it should be Ron Paul - as he is the only candidate that will talk or bring about issues.
I get a 'Potential Spam' popup from Thunderbird with a similar 'COX thinks this is spam' if I send in text only. I send in text and HTML and it goes through.
flawed election 'solutions' according to whom??? Apparently Diebold and the value in the register that represents something they want to have a higher percentage doesn't see it as flawed. It's just following a routine.
I thought it was pretty telling that A) They (Ars Technica) don't like the idea of sound money, a strong national defense, and freedom that the Constitution endorses. B) They're ill informed and take their news information from sound bites. C) They emotionally support another candidate because of (B).
So we have the program "Star Wars" and now we have "Skynet". Before you know it, they will want to 'recycle' people when they turn 30 and there will probably be a 'Green' company to provide high energy biscuits to people and the company name will be "The Soylent Biscuit Company".
Allright, got me. Cell phones didn't exist then weren't affordable then for me. Knowing some Bell South codes worked in rural areas, having a Walkman with the DTMF numbers from my Commodore 64 also worked.
There is about less than 15% of us that do care and that is why we will fail.
I thought geeks bit the heads off live chickens and nerds pushed technology to to the limit.

That $1793 of pure power, romex to device.
At least it's made of silver and at $17.91/oz, that should be a 6lb. cable.
That would be $1,793.00 of pure power from romex to device.
At least it is made of silver and at $17.91/oz, that's about a 6lb cable.

McCain was shot down and surrendered.
