That's only partially true. At 14 you try to experiment with things not knowing the full impact of your actions. I took apart many electronic devices when I was that age and I didn't know what I was doing. Youtube is full of clips of kids trying to sound like hackers and where they just learned about ping or traceroute and are explaining it as if that would magically hack a website.
I'm currently playing a cross platform game: Final Fantasy 14. I'm in game with people on PS4, PS3 and PC. Isn't this more an issue with the game developers themselves and game server APIs that are agnostic to the platform rather than Sony not wanting this?
NFLX is a highly volatile stock, and has been bouncing between 85 and 100 on and off for the past 6 months. Before that there was 6 months of bouncing between 100 and 120.
When you see the crazy ascent it made in 3 years time, losing 10% now and then isn't that big of a deal. It's just 'regular' day trading.
It can take absurd proportions. For example, there was a Belgian movie that came out last year called 'Black'. It was pretty successful at the theaters here (in Belgium) and was also heavily subsidized by plenty of governmental audio-visual funds as this was a film directed by promising young Directors and young actors. They sold the rights to the movie to Netflix early on (while it was still in theaters here), except for Belgium where you couldn't watch the movie on Netflix. How ironic is that? You could watch that movie everywhere as a Netflix subscriber, except the Belgian subscribers who basically paid for the movie through taxes ???
Has much more history than the big Tech Firms, some historical buildings, it's a nice place to walk around, and you probably will be able to use a restroom.
Because everybody knows a certificate in Agile makes you a professional project manager. I have yet to meet a project manager with said or PMP certificate that is actually more competent than a well paid glorified secretary.
Who cares? There are already serious military applications of AI like Turrets and I'm sure much more advanced weapons. And that's from a slashdot article I once read a couple of years ago. So who knows what they have now. A little needle pricking robot is the least of our worries.
It's very perverse. In this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8XknFl1l_8), you see the guy actually seeking out those patent troll offices. They appear to be just empty offices with no one inside. So a small hallway in an office space will host door after door each being the address for one patent troll company. The craziest part is that one of these buildings is just across the street from the courthouse! So, those judges know damn well these patent trolls are just empty boxes created to simply go after people to settle.
That really depends on the weather. No, You don't have to bike to work at 20 mph. But given a bit of heat, a nice 1 mile hill which needs some effort getting over, and some people would enjoy taking a shower before getting behind their desk.
The issue stays the same. If you have data in the file that gets interpreted a certain way ( say, for formatting, a malformed URL, weird characters,...), but the interpretation is buggy and prone to buffer-overflows or other when reading the wrong data, you're still at risk.
I had a Soundblaster card long before Doom came out. Also, I remember Doom came on like 6-7 floppies and not the 'launching of a 3.5" floppy' as the OP says.
That's because it's always easier to go after the low hanging fruit. You just need one simple sting operation to catch tens of customers and prostitutes. Rolling up an Asian sex trafficking network takes way more research and women willing to testify. These women probably have family in their home country that the sex traffickers (which are probably involved in local maffia as well) can use as leverage. So it's an easy choice between putting 10 local cops on the street for a sting operation, getting same day results and a nice news report on the 11 o'clock news versus months and years of research with possible mixed results.
These kids are definitely very good at abstraction and such. When you check the 4 minute clip, some questions are really about degrees and clocks etc.. so looks like they already have the trigonometry thing covered. By the time I actually understood what's asked, they already have the answer.
This does not look at all. Depending on what exactly caused the accident and how that car flew into the field, I don't see any reason why the front would be completely disintegrated as we see on the picture. You can see the road behind where ambulances and such are parked, that's basically 30 yards, really not that far. The header should be "30 yards off-road wrecks your Tesla"
The original Shadow Broker was a big ugly alien though.

Atari 2600? What's wrong with Tennis for Two on the Oscilloscope?

Yes, and his mom could easily solder new ram onto her shiny mac.
A quick search reveals that 16 GB flash is like 2$ on Alibaba, and that's as an USB stick. This is like a 1$ manufacturing cost for Apple. Big Deal!
Porsche?

10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)); : GOTO 10
This also works everywhere and makes you look like an 1337 h4x0r.

It had 85 upvotes, dude!
> In reality the Soviets had them beat until Americans started funneling advanced weapons in which neutralized the Soviets weapons.
Are you talking about RAMBO?
So did I! (types IDDAD and IDKFA)

+1 emotional :)

I don't seem to have an offshore bank account :'( Guess I'll remain poor.
