How could ease dropping be a factor? Outside of tracking location, the only way to spy would be to have someone actually answer the cell phone and leave it on.
It depends I guess..
All the open source software I've tried has been pretty good. What are they saying? That they should dumb down software in order to appease the public?
Thats great. I just downloaded Itunes yesterday because I ordered an Ipod mini. After hearing this..... I might just go back to kazaa and emule if they raise prices.
Okay. IMHO, I would have to say that the Linux community would do well to start pushing out Desktop quality OS's. Look at Red Hat and Suse. Both versions are excellent, and are capable of replacing Windows for a Desktop.
Now, to the question of security. XP is a good OS, but. All the security problems makes you wonder. Is this a problem devoted to just it being whats run on 85 % of the worlds computers? Yes and no.
I think its on equal parts, of it being pushed out the door before more development could be done, and it being so popular. Also I give credit to the hundreds of thousands of idiots who download.exe files and scripts of shady website, and P2P network. If people were smarter, there would be less problems.
Now. Linux, again IMHO, and Os X. ARE more secure. This is in fact to better coding, more R&D on the coding, and by being less known.
Linux users are in general smarter than windows users. And considering Linux is Open Source; problems can be found faster than closed source software can. Seriously, would you buy a car with the Hood welded shut?
Microsoft is honestly trying to make XP more secure. And if Service Pack 2 lives up to what hype is making it. Things might get better.
I use XP for gaming, and demo-ing software. {Family Comp}. But for my Laptop I run Suse 9.
This is ludacris.
Doesn't the FBI have better things to do than raise prices of Broadband so they can spy on us?
This is all for home intruision. Not only will they just moniter internet traffic,
Downloads, Uploads
So this will make it easier for them to run to the RIAA like a little kid telling on someone.
Wow, more Microsoft Stupidity.
You have to wonder, is this marketing Genius? Or stupidity?
All the people who aren't computer literate will probably believe that. Along with that Viruses make WinXP Better.
Windows is never vulnerable until a patch
appears, and that releasing patches is what causes exploits to be
developed.
Okay, well then if thats the case, why don't they stop making patches.
We have never had vulnerabilities exploited
before the patch was known
Then what was that fault with Internet explorer opening.exe files that appeared as.pdf files? Thats been around for like, 9 Months.
I wonder if the coders and programmers @ Microsoft use Mac Products or Linux Flavors.
I'd like to raid their houses.........
Okay:
Microsoft tried this already with their Firewall. Which in my opinion doesn't work as well as it should. {Its frickin 200 dollars for their OS, I better get an awesome Firewall for that. Not some check box that says Protect My Computer. WTF is that?}
Anyway,
Before thinking about a virus scanner, I think they need to close some security holes. Viruses are mostly user implied {Mainly clicking on unknown attackments in e-mail} anyway. I mean, is this another reason for them to charge for updates? Its rumored that Gates is trying to implement a subscription service for Windows. {Much like Symantec or Mcaffe Virus Scanners. Pay 14.95 a year for updates or so}.
Microsoft needs to watch what they are doing. I think more and more people are going to start converting to OS X or Linux before they know it.

They bought out Cellular One.............which really sucks ass. Now they are buying At&t.........I have Verizon. I'm happy with it.
Thats a good joke.
I like it. I've downloaded some extensions, and it seems everthing is in order. The search integration option makes things nice also.
She looks like an older version of Drew Barrymore.
I wanna see what there gonna write about Lamo and Mitnick.
Um. I use Trillian, and it saves a log of my Chats? So does this mean that by just using a piece of software I can go to jail?
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!!!!
*deletes chatlogs and runs and hides in a closet*
It depends I guess..

Oh my god *falls out of chair laughing*
I just ordered an Ipod Mini last week. BAHHHHHHHHH

Remember, There is no patch for Human Stupididty.

For once we get a break and finally get songs legally for pretty cheap.
Now what do they wanna do? Raise prices? Don't they see that this is why people started downloading in the first place? CD Prices were high.
O well, if they do raise prices. There is always Kazaa & Emule.
This has been the second security flaw ever since OSX came out to my knowledge. How many has XP had? Like 236 or something?
And some people are linking this to Quicktime and not OSX itself.
If anything, this is just gonna make a bunch of Windows Fanboys even more Fanboish.

This further proves that Microsoft is the Dr. Evil of the Software world.
I wonder if Sco is going to sue for a Billion Dollars.
*puts on Dr. Evil Laugh*
Mwuhahahahaha
Simple enough, anything to do with Free Microsoft has blocked.
We thank you, big fat still living with his parents and spamming the $hit out of everyone guy.
