Actually, my russian flatmate took his comp with him from russia in a cardboard box - and then put it together inside the box... just cut a slot for the CD and made a couple of holes for the fan!

And here i am only using it to watch my divx-movies...
Seriously though, that was the main selling point for me this time over that it could be easily modded so that i can use it for a lot more than just games. It's also a dvd-player, music jukebox and a photo-viewer.. Now if i only could connect the iPod directly to the xbox, that would rock!
Gmails spam-filter works well, just wish there was a way to filter out languages... send($language) to spam-folder. I don't give out my gmail address, i use a domain that is re-directed to the account, but i keep getting spam in russian, addressed to the gmail addy.
For temp & signup emails i use http://www.mailinator.com/, it seems to be down at the moment - because of the silly amounts of spam they recieve. It's a great service when it works, get a temp inbox with any addy you want. The box is deleted after a couple of hours, nothing to trace it back to you!
I've always loved Fiat + Alfa Romeo - have considered them the Apple of car manufacturers, beautiful designs, zealot users (or drivers) and not always the highest quality (in the past).
And now they go and do this??

Well.. at least this might make next years F1 season a bit more exciting... Might even the playing field out a bit if Ferrari are using MS tech in the pit, not even Schumi is safe!
I had a dream last night that the new G5 iMac would basically be the new screen design, with only a very small box at the back for mobo etc... It was absolutely stunning.
Coupled with a wireless keyboard AND a two button mouse with a scroll wheel of sorts - think iPod scroll wheel tech.
I tried, it broke my firewire card (Creative Audigy 2) so i couldn't access my 160gb SmutStore(tm) - had to boot into FC2 to get my daily dose...
Only one thing i could do - revert back!
